Publisher's Summary

Section K Replication Alluthan Clone, or Krac as he is now called, has one focus in his life: protect the descendants of the Freedom Five who rule Earth's council. Things become personal when insurgents target a special member of the Freedom Five, Gracie Jones-Jefe and her family. When Violet Jefe is kidnapped, Krac swears to do everything he can to bring the precocious little girl, who is the image of her mother, home safely and kill those who took her.

Captain "Skeeter" Lulu Belle Mann lives a life of freedom drifting from spaceport to spaceport in her short-haul freighter looking for unusual treasures to add to her collection of mismatched prizes. On the Pyrus space station, she finds two treasures she has to have! One is the new navigation module she desperately needs, and the other is a curly haired little girl with big green eyes that melts her heart. Never one to be denied what she really wants, Skeeter buys the first and steals the second.

When sources lead Krac to the Lulu Belle, he finds more than he expects - a woman who fires his blood almost as much as she draws it. Krac's hands and life are suddenly overflowing; he has to capture the woman who is driving him crazy, protect little Violet, and keep them alive long enough to deliver one home and the other to his bed. But someone else has targeted Skeeter and the Lulu Belle, and they are just as deadly as Krac. Can he protect the feisty firebrand that has captured his heart, or will he lose the only thing he has ever cared about to another of his kind?

Captivating

Once again Smith has left me wanting more and in the edge of my seat. I love that the women have their own minds, that the men are strong but consider their women and that none of them are perfect. Can't wait for her to write the next installment!!!

more please!

I love this series and want more of the story! There is a H.E.A. and it does finish up well but there is a type of cliff hanger where you just want more of the series storyline. I suggest start with book one, which is amazing, and read in order as published! I am sure the third is in the making but I can happily read 'Dusten', book five in another series she has going, which is awesome! the narrator is the best and I am so glad he is being used by her books! His voice is truly an actor's gift that I am happily noticing more often in the audible book area! I sure hope as time goes on, there are more great story tellers voices who join this artistic medium!

Beautifully read Sci-fi romance

David Brennan did a fabulous job narrating this wonderful sci-fi romance by S E Smith. Listening to the story brings additional enjoyment of the book than reading it alone does. Beautifully done.

4 Krac's Firebrand Stars

I enjoyed this book, not as good as book 1 but I did like getting to see Krac get his HEA.

Skeeter is just the one to take one Krac, she sees what other do not. And she sees who and what Krac is and that he needs someone who sees him for the man he is.

I loved that Skeeter got to speak to her father and tell her what she really wanted.
And that her father listened without judgment. I loved this!!

We did get Gracie and Kordon too so that was a bonus <3

Loved the narration <3

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

That Girl Is Hilarious! And she totally made the Book totally Awesome! there was a time or two I laughed so hard i cried and my stomach hurt! She has the joy of a child, and a naivety that is scary yet you want to protect and hold on too. Its funny how her das id a big scary man and she had to fall in love with a big scary man. it seems fitting somehow lol.

Krac isback and he's on a mission

Krac is a complicated male. He has his own motives for what he does. He do things his way and he get results. He follows his own code of ethics. He finds that his fierce loyalty to the founding members bloodline of the freedom five runs deep. He finds this adventure to retrieve more than one stolen loved one. I found his interaction with the various players to be interesting on various levels. He has diversity within and was very controlled. That was until Skeeter.

Skeeter was a walking disaster to others, but a very sweet sunny natured person. She found the beauty in most everything. She was vibrant in spirit and heart. She could see Krac for himself not the monster he thought she should see. Their battle to be safe and secure the ones around them came at a price and their union. I look forward to more of these warriors.

David Brenin. What a wonderful narrator. He does a great job with each and every new audio that I hear from him. His collaboration with SE Smith is like a match made by fate.

fun story for SE Smith / great narration

SE Smith has written a great installment to the Zion Warriors series which I hope she plans to continue with although I have no clue how she has the time or the ability to keep all the series straight.

The narrator, David Brenin, who has narrated all the SE Smith books I have listened to, has once again done a fantastic job. He has the ability to not only bring a story to life but read the characters in such a way that you automatically know which one is speaking. He is so good that it seems he has an unending supply of voices since none of the characters ever seem to sound the same as I go from book to book. Whether it is a female or male, David Brerin is fantastic at his job. He also gets the nuances of the characters perfectly. When a narrator is reading and you know the character is being derisive or sarcastic and instead is made to sound perky, the entire book is ruined. I can only guess he must read these books before he actually narrates them, which seems logical but I have listened to enough audio books to think it perhaps isn't always the case. I will also bring up the fact that as this is a romance, the "love scenes" are not narrated in such a way that you are either cringing or embarrassed if someone catches you listening to it. When you are reading to yourself it is totally different than when you a listening to what has been written.

Filled

I enjoyed the beginning of the book but it seemed drag on without any destiny and then ends with waiting for the next book. Again I enjoyed the characters and the steamy stuff. It just seem to fizzle towards the end.
