Cute story, but imo not worth the cost of a credit

2 and 1/2 chapters worth of very descriptive sex in a short novella is just too much imo. Doesn't leave much room for story building. Narrator was very good. If you enjoy erotica built around a cute story, you'll enjoy this novella.

Short, but Intense!

Having read numerous books by this author, I grabbed this one when I saw that it was free on Audible Escape. Author S.E. Smith packed a lot of action in this quick read novella! Two brothers, taken as children from Earth are forced by their ruthless captors to work for them, spared only because they had convinced their captors that the two brothers would die if seperated. Their time aboard the ship was assisted by a Science officer who wanted to learn more about the earthlings and their government. Two Mariston Dow sisters are also on board the ship as they work their mandatory military enlistment. The two brothers end up meeting the two sisters and chemistry explodes. No spoilers, but there is lots of action in this one as they try to escape!

If you have read previous books by this author, the additional characters toward the end of the book will be familiar to you. A great quick-read, but definitely hot sex is included, so you will want to keep this one away from the preteens.

A Warriors Heart

This was a very good story. Loved it all. It was great having other characters from other stories involved in this one. Loved the epilogue. The narrator was fantastic. David does an excellent job with all of S.E. Smith stories.

MIA

What's missing? Oh now I know. An erotic book must still have a plot.

Lots of 'it' here.

2.5 stars rounded up because ... I'm a softy today. Review of audio book I only half listened to. No briefs were melted to create this muttering

Interesting

I think maybe this story was too short making the characters much too washed out.

human men more than

Blue women. Murder. Mayhem. Killed or be killed society.

This was an introduction to a new set of aliens and their culture. We also see a few new or old depends on the order in which you read or listened to the books. It takes strength and determination to be something more or even different than what your own society had breed you to believe all your life.

David makes it all good every single time I hear his voice. He brings each and every character to life with distinction to each one. They all get a separate feel with the change he makes with pitch and tone.

Forgot what a good story this was.

It is great to listen to these books whilst doing other things.
I had forgotten how this short book ties into some of the happenings from another book.
BOOK REVIEW
A good short filler in this series.
A short introduction to more of the Marastin Dow aliens who live a very violent and often short life.
This race of aliens have had a poor showing so far in this connected series world but not all of the race are bad. The majority are trying to better their world via rebellion so they may lead a better life and hopefully will be able to do that.
We have met and hear about them from time to time in both good and bad circumstances and I do hope their world improves as it seems a very unhappy place.
In this book two earth men, Ben and Aaron, brothers, were kidnapped 15 years prior from earth and are used as slaves. The ship they are on is captured by a Marastin Dow warship and they are helped by good Marastin Dow people. They are kept hidden and put to work on board.
Ben and Aaron meet and fall for two of the Marastin Dow women and all escape together.
This ties in with Cornering Carmen in the Dragon Lords of Valdier series.
