Publisher's Summary

There's something about Cutter King that reminds me of every bad relationship I've been in and every bad decision I've ever made....

He's desperately good looking, but he knows it. He's built sturdy and strong like a tank, but he's reckless. He looks like every woman's fantasy, yet for me he's a nightmare. Too bad I owe him big time. And now he's moved in next door to collect.

Author's promise: This is a full length stand-alone novel featuring a strong alpha, with no cheating and (as always) a happily ever after. Be advised that due to strong language and yummy sex, this book is not intended for the easily offended or listeners under 18.

His Majesty the King is here!

This is my first Lisa Lang-Blakeney book and, holy hotness Batman! This alpha male who looks like Thor (hopefully the Chris Hemsworth version 😉) and who protects his woman to all extents is my cup of tea! I love how Cutter and Sloane's relationship evolved. It's not one of those that they immediately crave into their feelings. Its drawn out and that makes it completely worth a listen. Highly recommended.

Indebted To A King With Many Sides!

I know an audible book a keeper when one of the kids yanks an earbud out bringing me back to reality, asking only in a voice a mother could love " whats the chances we are going to get dinner tonight? " Whoops!
Offspring caught me just sitting in my favorite chair curled up off in the world Lisa Lang Blakeney created!

What a world it is- I am ashamed to say I had not delved into the world of the King brothers before now- WHY NOT? You ask.. I honestly have no idea!

This storyline was an intoxicating mash-up of naughtiness and heart! ( I do love the naughty)
Cutter, Bad Boy -NO scratch that- Bad Alpha Man, protector, the fixer with sexy, sweet layers you want to peel away slowly. *SIGH* Sloane, a headstrong, maneater, with a heart and brain in constant battle (whom, I found shared a few personality traits with. <looks away> ) Obstacles at every turn for the King, and his Princess, a witty, maddening awe I want more, hose me down romance this standalone made it easy to see why so many readers before me loved this book!
All around perfection, I am hooked. The need to go back and find out more about the King Brothers is strong!

A HOT, humorous, dark-tinged, romanced up all alpha male tale that I highly recommend! SO worth the time and credit!

Narration:
Tracy Marks and Aaron Shedlock were perfect for these characters! Really bringing this book to life!

Great Book

Indebted to a King by Lisa Lang Blakeney was a great read. This is book two of The King Brothers Series. Cutter King is the man that your parents always warned you against. Sloan is a woman who doesn't take any shit from anyone. I absolutely loved reading this book and I can't wait to read more by the author.

I'm Also Indebted

My enjoyment starts with the narrator's reading me a story that I enjoyed from beginning to end. I could picture myself sitting at the back of a baseball game and listening to this book. Yes, there are times where I like to set the mood and this one I would have to travel around. Our narrators are good at getting me to visualize what Sloan and Cutter look like. I was lucky that my earbuds didn't melt from the heat our main characters were putting out. There were times when I felt like I was in the background watching them interact.

The author has also made me happy. If not for her words the narrators, no matter how good they are, would not have left me looking for more. The only issue I have is that now that I've listened to the book, I don't know that I could go back and read it. Although if I did, I would probably hear Ms. Marks and Mr. Shedlock in my head. I don't know if I got so involved with the story but I missed what happened to Sloan's sister's boyfriend - and she needed a reality check. That's just one more reason for me to listen to the book again. Sometimes if you read, watch, or listen to something more than once you pick up on little things you missed before and that may be true in this case. I look forward to if and when Ms. Lang-Blakeney has more audiobooks. But until that happens, I look forward to reading her work.

I voluntarily reviewed an Audiobook copy of this book.

What an audio!

I am so excited that I had the chance to listen to this book. It is my first Lisa Lang-Blakeney book and I loved it! This story is book two of the King Brothers, but is easily listened to as a standalone. I loved the way this book started, with Cutter bumping into Sloan as teenagers, but neither knowing it when they met later. The chemistry is evident, and their slow burn relationship is so sensual and hot, it kept me listening! Cutter is the perfect alpha male, extremely confident, good looking and extremely protective. Sloan is hesitant of men like this and does her best to ignore her attraction, until she can't. I love how Cutter infiltrates himself into Sloan's life, whether she likes it or not. Each time made Cutter more endearing to me and it is so easy to fall in love with him! I also loved the interaction with Cutter's brother, it was a typical sibling rivalry, but you could feel the real love these two have for each other and how they always have each other's back. I am anxiously awaiting the other books in this series to be released!

Aaron Shedlock with a Phillie accent, what more can you ask for? He is the perfect Cutter with just enough edge to his voice to give it that rough sound, plus the warm tones to make him charming. Tracy Marks always picks the voice I would expect to hear from the heroine. Sloan has sassiness and lots of spunk, but you can feel her vulnerable side right through it. This team of narrators can perform any couple flawlessly.

Gripping, Captivating and Wonderful!

I was captivated by Cutter from the very beginning. Sloan also intrigued me with her straightforward manner. I loved how both were protective of those they cared about. (I still question how smart her sister was choosing the loser boyfriend though). This is the first book by Lisa Lang-Blakeney that I have listened to. I am really enjoying the King Brothers and see the good in them. The author weaves vivid details, realistic humor and a great story in one. Tracy Marks and Aaron Shedlock both add so much to the audiobook with their voices and emotions. Both narrators are exceptionally good with their POV of Sloan and Cutter. I can’t wait for the next book. This is both a standalone listen and part of a series.

FANTASTIC

I received this audio for Free to Give My True & Honest Review.

I loved reading Cutter & Sloan's story on my kindle. Though I felt more connected with them listening to 'them' on audio. I Found that Tracy Marks & Aaron Shedlock did a good job in bringing Cutter & Sloan alive.
Really Recommend listening to Indebted to a King on audio even if you've read it.
