Publisher's Summary

After a car accident killed her parents when she was a child, Bronagh Murphy chose to box herself off from people in an effort to keep herself from future hurt. If she doesn't befriend people, talk to them, or acknowledge them in any way, they leave her alone just like she wants.

When Dominic Slater enters her life, ignoring him is all she has to do to get his attention. Dominic is used to attention, and when he and his brothers move to Dublin, Ireland, for family business, he gets nothing but attention. Attention from everyone except the beautiful brunette with a sharp tongue.

Dominic wants Bronagh, and the only way he can get to her is by dragging her from the boxed off corner she has herself trapped in the only way he knows how...by force.

Dominic wants her, and what Dominic wants, Dominic gets.

YA- heroine was immature and turned me off.

This book had promise with the angst in the beginning despite it being a YA novel. However, the Heroine's immaturity soon turned me off of this book. Narrator's female voice was pleasant but her male voice was non- existent. I could not finish this book.

good

it seemed like the narrator added dialogue that wasn't part of the book, which was confusing sometimes, but figured it was possibly at the author's request. overall the it was good, but hope the other books in the series doesn't turn out similar.

high school kids

Any additional comments?

Story itself pretty boring. Worse - it's all about high school students. Nowhere in the description did it say 'YA'.

Did not like the narrative

The male voice was to feminine. He even giggle instead of laughing. I was very disappointed. I really enjoyed the book itself.

Fantastic!!!

I just loved this book. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. Everything bout this book is awesome, fantastic, amazing an brilliant. The characters were perfect and the performance from the audiobooks just made the story that much better. I laughed wanted to scream and even felt the lump in my throat a few times. The best kind of story found myself listening in one day. I couldn't put it down . Highly recommended this book I also recommend purchasing the audio book with it. puts you right into the story with her reading it. 5 stars!!!!Keep em coming.

I've read the books so many times! but to hear it come to life now in audio it's like Christmas for my ears in August!
The Slater brothers are addicting... you wanna get to know them all! L. A. Casey is amazing and know how to write a story that you just get caught up in and she takes you for a ride. you become part of the Slater family.

loved it

popped my audio cherry. I have to say it's bloody brilliant. Hearing the Irish accent instead of making up in your head was totally awesome. the narrator was excellent, not stiff and robotic as I've heard from samples in the past. To fall for Dominic again was quicker with a voice. well done ladies well done.

DNF

I didn't get very far into this one. The younger age of the characters just wasn't what I expected nor was in the mood for. Have returned. It was nice to hear an Irish accent for a change from American though.
