Dead People Walking

The shocking return of Gadhio's dead wife reveals that the Church of Origin has been researching necromancy, ostensibly with the goal of helping people work through grief. Unconvinced, Flum decides to sneak back into one of the church's research facilities to conduct an investigation of her own—if, that is, she's prepared for what she might find there.

I believe this is a very good series. The performances by the voice actor was really good fluctuating voices between male female, different female characters and male characters and making the story even better. Can’t wait for the next installment.

Good series

Unique world with great charecters and story. The change from how demons are usually portrayed is a fun change as well as the power system and structure for the magic. Overall a fun read.

Unique world with great characters.

I love the characters so much it made me yell at work “reverse that bitch!”

Milkit deserves the most happiness in the world

I liked this volume more than the second one. The pacing and tone of this one felt more natural. Nothing against the second volume though, that one was good. What I’m saying is it’s always a good thing when the story feels better as it progresses.

Flum and Milkit has more interactions here, which is always a plus as they’re the heart of the story. I also liked the “villain’s” perspective on the necromancy project. Not everything is black and white.

We learned more about Milkit this chapter, more about the other characters too, so lot’s of character development. It seems things are about to take a wide turn for the worst in the capital.

Shoutout to the narrator as always, to the writers, and the production team. As of this moment, I see the next volume appears to be the last on Audible for now. I believe there’s more volumes released in Japan, so hopefully they get started recording those!

Great story!
