Amazing! The narrator does an excellent job voicing the characters!
At first I was a bit disappointed that the story wasn't being narrated by one of of the voice actors that play Claire or Rae in the anime dub. But that disappointment quickly became delight after listening for a few minutes. The narrator does an excellent job voicing not only Claire And Rea, but all of the characters. The characters personalities shine so much because of this. The voices she does for Lene and Misha fit very well. I feel like the range of voices for male characters isn't as large, but the narrator still does an excellent job with them too.
Three story is great. I can't wait to listen to the next volume!

A fun light novel that feels different than most
I’m in Love with the Villainess vol. 1 tells its story well, by the standards of light novels. A lot of the usual hang-ups are hear—repetitive narration in places, meandering dialog, and a weird sense of pacing—but it does enough to distinguish itself from the norm. If nothing else, it has a refreshingly open discussion of queerness that I found surprising from a Japanese series. If you’re looking for a light-hearted yuri novel you could do far worse than this one.
P.S. the anime adaptation covers this material in its first eight episodes or so.

The best yuri LN begins
Villainess is my favorite yuri LN series, so when I saw it was going to be an audio book I felt it would be a great time to revisit the series. Shaw's narration is fantastic! She does an incredible job and really adds to the feeling of the books. Its a fun series, but brings up more serious tooics at times without breaking the narrative. The first novel sets up the world well, Cannot wait to check out the rest when they become available.
