"Books contain countless wonders."
Lily was an orphaned bunny girl with a frail body, but with a talent for penmanship and a boundless thirst for knowledge.
Arakil, god of magic, found himself imprisoned within his grimoire, waiting for the perfect person to come along.
When Lily picked up Arakil's grimoire, he found himself an eager and willing apprentice, while she found herself a knowledgeable teacher. Arakil teams up with Lily to foster her magical abilities, and maybe, somehow, work towards his freedom.
There's just one problem—Lily cannot use magic. She's a Lagia, and there's never been a Lagia mage. Well, it's time for the orphan bunny girl to break all expectations! And with the help of her adopted, older sister Rose and the town that raised her—she'll become the one, and only, Lagia mage!

First off, the narrators were great. The characters are all fun and unique and the narrators did a great job bringing them to life.
Then there was the world building. Super solid, super interesting. No annoying exposition. You learn how the world works along with the character which is classic, but effective, storytelling.
Then there was the magic and the skills and the progression! Oh the magic system is just great!! I love a well defined system that doesn’t just pull magical solutions out of thin air to solve a problem or falls back on the power of friendship or some such nonsense to give a last minute boost.
Then there was the progression aspect of a LITRPG. It was also explained in an incremental way that wasn’t overwhelming or tedious. No walls of text containing skills, spells, and stats to slog through, but you still get a good sense of Lily’s growth and how people into the world gain power and level up, so to speak.
The book is a fascinating character concept. Doing something messed up but not realizing how bad it was because he has this single minded obsession for magical knowledge. I like they started out with that, because he’s a likeable character, but you still, in the back of your mind, are wary of him and wonder if maybe he’s kinda low key evil and this may end poorly? Or not, who knows!!
It’s wonderful and I look forward to the rest of the series!
