Publisher's Summary

It was lyrics at first sight when I saw Violet Rhodes across that crowded party. She was lights and darks, swirled together. Music in motion. And all of it while looking like a hitwoman at an Elvis convention.

I had nothing to offer the intriguing girl but a one-night stand. I figured I’d revel in my last night of anonymity before my first tour and shoot her a quick “we’ll always have LA!” good-bye the next morning. But nothing went according to plan.

In one night, Violet crawled under my skin and into my bloodstream. She tattooed her name across my chest and between my legs. She became my muse. And then she was gone. Now, months later, here she is again. And in a twist I never saw coming, it turns out Violet is ultra-violet radiation. Beautiful, ethereal light bringing with her the promise of damage and destruction. My brain tells me to walk away from this girl, but my heart can’t stop feeling like she might be one of a kind...the sort of girl who comes along once in a violet moon.

Rockstar is a stand-alone romance, the love story of Dax Morgan and the electrifying woman who rocked his world during his journey to worldwide rock superstardom.

Rocked by the Rockstar!

As always, Lauren hits it out of the part with this tender, funny, heart-warming, and pretty darn real portrayal of a family, and love, and finding your way. I can't say enough how much I love all of the books in this series! Every woman should get to marry a Morgan brother, and every guys should get to hang with them. Highly recommended! Lauren & John's narration is fantastic as always as well.

Get ready to ROCK your world!!

From the moment I started this book I could not put it down. Being on this magical journey with Dax the amazing HAF Rockstar and Violet the brilliantly talented and beautiful artist was an experience like no other.
The overwhelming feeling of wanting to jump right into the pages of this book to either give everyone a big hug or a few punches was like no other.
Lauren has once again taken me on a roller coaster ride with a few twists and turns that I did not see coming.
The narration was absolutely perfect!! They really captured the personalities of each character and made me fall in love with each and every one of them.
Although this book is part of a series, it is totally a standalone with an HEA as are all the books in this series.
This is a must read/listen and I absolutely recommend this book.

And this is why I love the Morgans the most!

Dax is a true Morgan, meaning entirely lovable. An honestly good guy who’s still super sexy and exciting. Proving that Romance heroes don’t have to be bad boys to be interesting!

Violet is the kind of likable, understated Romance heroine who can let a guy like Dax shine, while still having her own story, her own successes, and her own personality. She isn’t just a background for Dax.

Their story is one of forbidden love. A one-night-stand turning into tons of feelings.

The narration by John Lane and Lauren Rowe was beautiful as ever. And hearing John Lane make a goat sound totally made my day LOL

To be honest, as much as I love listening to John Lane, I would have preferred a different voice for Dax. I imagined something a bit more raspy and less growly or deep. More of an indie rock singer’s voice, less of a Death Metal singer’s voice, haha.

But that really doesn’t take any enjoyment away from listening to this audiobook.

Lauren Rowe created an entire Rockstar universe, including a band website, a trailer that made my Grunge kid heart beat faster (but, you know, in a cool way, of course), and actual real music videos for the original 22 Goats songs from the book. It’s not only a very immersive experience, it’s also damn impressive. Go Lauren! 😀

Sweet book

The story dragged for me because I didn’t read the other Morgan brother’s books, and they talk a lot about them too. It was still a good book.

I want to be a Morgan

Oh my gosh I could not love this family enough! The Morgan brothers (and sister) are funny, romantic, strong, and fiercely loyal. I’m sad this is the last book in the series. I want more Morgan’s!

much less fun than "Captain"

a decent love story, verrrrrry few smiles. loved the H and his friends. liked the h most of the book, about 3/4 of the way through she flipped a switch and overnight changed into an impossible witch. would have liked to see Caleb grow up in this story. seriously Ms Rowe, read the reviews, all, not just the 5 star. Mr Lane does an excellent job. so far will be buying "Captain" peace

Another 5 - Make That 10 Stars For Lauren Rowe!!!y

Several spoilers in my review. You've been warned!

Between the amazing music, love, laughter and tears, ROCKSTAR is perfection at its best!

After being nicknamed Rockstar when he was just five because of his need for long hair. Dax is now beginning to fulfill his legacy.

The day before Dax is to start his European tour as the front band for Red Card Riot, the band Dax idolizes, he meets the girl of his dreams. They're both at a party grown by Reed River, the owner of the label Dax and his band, 22 Goats are signed to.

Violet.
As Dax watches man after man try to pick up Violet, he knows he must go and introduce himself to her.

Aggravated as Dax ignores her hints to come over, finally Dax gets the hint and introduces himself.

Talk about sparks flying!!

There's just a few things they both neglect to tell the other. Like Dax is leaving to be RCR's front band

Or that the owner of 22 Goats and RCR Reed River is Violet's brother... or that the drummer for RCR just happens to be Violet's ex boyfriend.

Oh, and both of them are having the Very Best Sex...among other things.. that either have EVER had...
Who says there's no such thing as love at first night. Too bad no numbers were exchanged...

The sex is Amazing... the music incredible..
and the narration is outstanding!!!

ENJOY!!!!!

My favourite Morgan brother book

I've read all the Morgan Brothers books, (no matter what Goodreads say) And hands down Rockstar is my favourite. Daxy is my second favourite brother (shout out to my hubster Keane) but this story was EVERY THING. I thought Mr Bodyguard might have been #1, because let's face it, Z is a defacto Morgan, but everything about this, from the romance to the songs (which you should totally buy, bee tee dubs) is intriguing.

thought it may have been more tortured

the dust cover indicated a tortured depth that wasn't there. but Being the Morgan's I guess ms Rowe had to follow the theme of not only the hero but the family setting.
love the narrator's.
was hoping for a bit nore grit but a clever twist. it's open-ended..I think anyway...or celeb going to come around and dare I say...are the going to hear river reeds story????
in all Morgan siblings, I've only read the boys...
book 1 hero...serious and brave
book 2 hero...serious, alpha sexy with comical situation
book 3 hero..absolutely hysterical and a tad above a youngens read....I absolutely belly laughed
book 4 hero...cheesy and corny all rolled into 1
book 5 hero...pulled at heartstrings but didn't quite get the depth I saw the hero portrayed as.....Ms Rowe used the family to lighten the mood...
.Enjoyed the perfect Morgan's and John lane (hubba hubba)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Oh my, how can you not love our #Rockstar let alone this whole family.
Another great addition to this amazing family, I think I fall more and more in love with them with ever new book.
A story filled music and beautiful poetic words, and a love story that will be everlasting
I can’t believe we are out of brother, I wanna 😢
Thankfully, this whole series is one of my favourites to re-listen to, over and over
