Loved the story, loved the voice performance.

This book touched on all of my emotions. I cried and I laughed and I felt frustrated at times when Maddie and Caleb let things keep them apart. A book is a winner for me when it makes me feel all of these things so deeply.

There is an excellent and entertaining cast of secondary characters, including meddling, matchmaking families. Given that this is the first of three books in the Fireflies series, I expect we will be seeing more of them.

Pam Dougherty's voice performance was perfect for this story. I hope she does the narration for the next two books in this series.

Fantastic!!

I loved this romance! Maddie and Caleb's story touched my heart. Well developed characters, a strong single dad, a beautiful romance and fantastic narration - I couldn't ask for more! I loved this book so much and can't wait to listen to the next book in this series!

Good Story!

I really enjoyed this story. The story is very sweet and wholesome. The narration was good and kept you entertained. This was my first book by this author but definitely won't be my last. A wonderful cozy love story

I don’t listen to a lot of romantic novels because I generally find them either extremely sappy or too explicit for my taste. This book was neither of those things. The characters were extremely likable, and their love story was extremely sweet without being cloying. There was just enough romantic detail without feeling like I was reading an x rated novel. I’d definitely recommend it!

Sweet book

I loved reading about Caleb and Maddie. This is a heart warming and heart breaking story all rolled into one. I’m really looking forward to the next book.

I enjoyed the narrators performance. She did a good job giving each character a different voice.

Love Built to Last

Oh my goodness...this was so filled with love and forgiveness and remembering and then survival. When you lose the love of your life you don't think you can survive but Maddie has found a way to survive by talking with her deceased husband, Jack. She finally decides he has told her it is time to go on with the kitchen rehab and even showed her who to call. Caleb Walker is the perfect one for her, not only as a carpenter but with his little boy they soon find their way. This was such a beautiful story that had me shedding some tears which was not unexpected as I lost my husband a few months ago and also 2 sons in the past few months. It has been an emotional year but I recommend this one! I am writing this review after completing the series and really recommend all three!!!!!!

Wonderful story of loss and another chance. I loved this audible! The best romance I've listened to too date. This is a MUST read for the year.

As for Pam Daugherty... She IS the single best narrator I've listened to so far. And I've listened to many very good narrator's. The emotions and the strength of her words are nothing short of perfect!! I could listen to all day, every day.

A Wonderful Story

This is a wonderful, heartwarming and heart-wrenching story! I enjoyed listening to the characters grow and come out of themselves to learn how to live again. I enjoyed the reality Ms. Claro put into the story in dealing with the loss of a spouse in a good relationship, that it's not so simple to "bounce" back into life. Pam Dougherty did an excellent job with the narration! She really brought the story to life. This is a beautiful story about healing and living life after tragedy strikes. I will recommend this story to my friends and look forward to the next book in this series.
