Camp friends are forever friends. Or so the motto of Camp Crestview says.

Having been a camp counselor for the last three summers, I can handle most situations that come my way courtesy of rowdy children. This year shouldn't be any different, even with a new counselor who's everyone's type and too good to be true. But even so, Kayde Lane is nothing I can't deal with.

Off to camp!

This was an awesome production and another great read from Merlin. I've got a few left but I'm getting nervous about finishing this catalogue! It's been so fun.

I'll definitely need some of these in physical copy. Kayde was a different kind of MC in my opinion, but I loved him. He and Summer had an interesting dynamic and intrigued me the whole way through. Maybe we'll get lucky and get more of them someday? Either way, I recommend this one for sure!

Longer than necessary

Well let’s get the unpleasantness out of the way. As much as I liked the overall story it was way too long. The spicy parts were just right. The psychological well thought through. The narrator had a pleasant soothing voice, thank you

I loved this book. 7/10 read! Will be re reading while camping. Recommend for a good summertime read or a starter dark romance book.

Kasi Hollowell does a great job doing Cades voice. was not disappointed. am going to look for other audible by her!
also my favorite a.j. merlin story. Seriously adore this narrator, what a great combo!

Love this book

This book has everything suspense, possessiveness, a serial killer, spookiness from the camp setting. I also really love the male voice that Kasi gives. The secondary characters are fun as well. This is one of my favorite books.

The beginning is great other than that…

I wanted a dark romance read for this summer, especially a summer camp setting and this one mostly delivered. The characters are easy to like or hate and I feel that the author did well on making them as complex as can be for a standalone. Overall story building was great but the end got kinda bland for me. I think them falling in love after a week was rushed. Especially after that it felt like the author was forcing to incorporate more to the story and kade himself just didn’t seem like his own character anymore but i guess it goes to the “I can change him” sort of trope aspect which I can kinda get. Overall I did enjoy this and 3/4 of the story had me hooked.

Interesting plot but very unrealistic

I did enjoy this book, but it felt very disjointed to me. Like two plot lines being merged together but it wasn’t a seamless fit. Enjoyable halves but the book as a whole was unrealistic

Ok story...

Can we just have a story with a normal FMC ....do they always have to be so completely mental? they needed a male narrator as well to really put this story over the top. the concept was great and this writer has so much potential but they always make the FMC so mentally unstable that it's ridiculous. So much unnecessary rambling throughout the story. I have noticed this with this writer so many times that they continually fill a story with unnecessary bits of information that just confuses a reader. FMC does not have to be such a freak in each story.
