one of the best books i have ever read or listened

well i did not see this one coming, it was one of the best. i loved full tilt and all in and this one is just as good.
the writing, the narration everything was excellent.
I highly recommend this one. It is so hard to find anything that is not only for young adults. this one is for all. it actually has a story to tell and is not all about sex which is a refreshing change.

I cried my eyes out

This story broke my heart. I kept crying throughout the entire end of the book!
I loved the story, my only issue was that Ella was so stupid. She needed someone to shake her and tell her to get over herself and pay attention to the wonderful man who was clearly devoted to her. Her mistrust went on too long. Despite that, I loved the story. A story that can mess with my emotions so intensely, is clearly a good story!

First Class, Special Delivery- All the Feels!!

This is my first Rebecca Yarros novel. By the time I was about mid-way through, I had decided she was my newest 'favorite'. The Last Letter was completely and deliciously original, while at the same time using several familiar story tropes.
Beckett Gentry is an amazing 'book boyfriend.' He's just thr right mix of broody man with baggage, quiet leader, anything-for-love romantic and fierce protector. There were a few times I wanted to shake our heroine for holding on to grudges.
I was pleasantly surprised at the picture of Ella as a young single mom with twins, who, rather than being portrayed as a victim of life, proved to be a strong, fierce warrior mama. I know so many women who dig deep and find strength in the face of adversity, and it's sometimes frustrating to constantly read about single moms only as in need of rescue. Even when she really did need help, she really thought through how she could accept help on behalf of her kids without feeling like she sold herself out in the process.
I can't say enough good things about Teddy Hamilton's & Jennifer Stark's performance. Because Gentry is a dog handler, Teddy Hamilton had to express high emotion without raising his voice, (to keep from triggering his dog.) There were several written interactions between the characters, and although there was really good inflection in the 'reading', there was a noted difference between their voices in the letters and when they were in the same room.
I would highly recommend this to anyone who is willing to feel all the emotions- happiness, fear, shock, laughter, anxiety, sorrow, joy, anger, frustration, and any others I probably missed.

Hands down my top audio of 2019!

Wow! I’m not really sure what else to say about this book/audio. I’m still speechless over it. I laughed and cried. Holy smokes will this one make you cry. Gut you to the core and then put you back together again. Rebecca Yarros you are amazing and I want to curse you at the same time. The twists and turns this book took were unexpected to say the least.

The narrators were too notch and did an amazing job bringing the characters to life.

Oh wow!

This is my first Rebecca Yarros and I’m hooked and a fan! This was so good and had me from the beginning. Definitely worth a credit or just buying the book out right. The duel narrators were amazing as well. It will break in some places but mend it back together in others. Simply greatness!

I listened to this audio and loved the narrators and the way they brought this story to life.

I couldn't stop listening to this story. It is a story that will pull on all your heart strings.

The most emotional book I've read this year! Great story about love and loss. Once again well done!

Good writing & narration.

Good writing and narration but too much grief for me. Ended up skimming through several chapters just to find some relief from the "heavy".

Wow!!

Wow! I can't even wrap my head around how I'm feeling after just finishing this book. As tears stream down my face I realize what life has to offer and how you never know what the next day will bring. This book was so Raw and full of emotion. The love and the story was overwhelming. It was full of heartbreak and gut wrenching moments. my heart broke for Ella and Beckett. but my heart has formed a new Love For What their life has become. This book has become a part of me and will never leave the audio was fantastic! The narrator's did such an amazing job on this story and really brought it to life. I highly recommend!
