So Far.. So Excellent!

I came across this book through a LinkedIn post that showed up on my feed, and I instantly knew it was something I needed to check out.

Right from the start, I felt like the author was describing me—I’m exactly the person the author describes who has embraced the 5 myths mentioned in the beginning of the book. But I’m also the person who’s ready to apply her insights and advice, and I’m confident it will positively shape my job search journey.

I really love the concept of this book. I’m only three chapters in, but it’s already clear that it’s a powerful resource. I’ve gained so much insight in such a short time, and I’m excited to keep learning from it. Time to do the work outlined in the book and trust the process!

Full of fantastic insights

I’ve followed Madeline’s content for years, so I was beyond thrilled when Reverse the Search was finally available—fortuitously released just as I started to really crave a change in my career. In the first few days following its release, I followed along with the advice in the book, refining my resume and online presence. I hadn’t even listened through the whole book before I started getting more outreach from recruiters on LinkedIn. I’m now in the third phase of an interview process for a company I previously interviewed with three years ago. Back then, I completely bombed the initial call and wasn’t invited for the second round. This time, I’ve been able to stay composed and communicate my worth to the company so much more effectively. I cannot believe how quickly the strategies started working, and I’m excited to see how much further they can take me in my job shopping journey.

I love this book! It not only helped me land the position I wanted but I was able to negotiate the pay something I've never done before! I highly recommend this book!!
