Only one man stands in the way of the Supreme Fire Lord and the subjugation of an entire continent.

As the Firelander army razes its way across the continent, Connor is outmatched, outnumbered, and out of time. His only hope lies in finding the Orb of Darkness, but the whereabouts of such a power are currently unknown.

Until now.

In a desperate move, Connor and his allies infiltrate the barren lands of the enemy, risking everything to recover the lost relic. Their path leads to the ceremonial heart of the Fire Lands, a place of sacred horrors and certain death.

Join him now for the epic conclusion of the Age of Heroes saga!

This was a good listen and character arcs finished wonderfully definitely wouldn't complain if there were more books added to the series though!

Loved the series

I loved this series. Well written and engaging but Boise Blue made it hard to fully love it. Every male character sounded exactly the same. Not to mention it sounded like he recorded with an AirPod mic. Would love to heard this all again with a new male voice actor.

Great series but Boise Booooo

I gotta be honest.. the entire plot line with vivienne really hurt this volume (for me anyway). I don’t want to write any spoilers so I’m just going to say that there were literally infinite ways the author could have both told and concluded her story. As I said this is just my personal opinion and I’m sure that there are many people who had zero problems with it. I guess what I’m trying to say is that I wish it was different. I really did like the series.

A decent end to an overall decent series.

I mainly got into this story because I love Jessica Threet's narration and needed a new epic harem fantasy to immerse myself in. I quickly came to love the world and its characters. All of Connor's loves are awesome in their own way, as sexy as they are charming and badass (I love the part where Jade threatens Tess's malignantly obnoxious stepmom). I think Hammond really wrote this last installment for the audible fans out there. Very VOCAL love scenes which really give Jessica a chance to flex her talent. Boise for his part does a fantastic job voicing the male roles in the story.

While the romance is a little sophomoric, and Esselin isn't quite the depth of world building and story development I've come to enjoy from this genre, I give this book big props for being consistently entertaining for 5 books. It's well worth 5 stars and I'd recommend it to fantasy fans who like their stories steamy. Harem lit is so fun for its exploration of nobility, heroism, and unconditional love, a total male fantasy that you don't quite get anywhere else. This series hits all the sweet spots.

AWESOME story!!!
