This series so so good I cant put the books down, I keep reading to see what happens next

The 2nd book is even better than the first

This is my favorite paranormal series thus far. I've never listened to Randi Cooley Wilson but this series just won't let me go.

Yes the main heroine, Eve is 18 years old and thinks like an 18 year old but the story line more than makes up for her hair brain decisions. Eve falls in love with Asher, and yes he's an alpha egocentric lovable kinda guy,

The only thing I had a hard time with in the series is when Eve over hears things and Asher and his family have "expert hearing" but yet they never seem to hear Eve when she's eavesdropping. I sympathize with her eavesdropping behavior because so many of her life decisions are being made about her...to her,...yet she's not included in any of the decision making.

I also have a huge soft space in my heart for lovable gargoyles. As for the narration, Jorjeana Marie does a wonderful job at narrating each character with attitude and empathy. Sometimes I found that her Irish accent for one character bled over into another characters voice, but she's very clear and easy to understand.

Either way I can't seem to put this series down! Fair warning - cliff hanger.

Deception and distance

Eve is one of the most immature female characters I've ever read about...all she does is whine and throw tantrums...i found myself wishing McKenna would throat punch her...story is great but Eve may very well be the reason I don't finish this series.

Eve is a pain in the ass!!

Where does Restraint rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I love this entire series. It is hard to rank books for me. It is the best paranormal series I have read in a while.

What did you like best about this story?

the slow burn with the characters, and the introduction to other realms

Which character – as performed by Jorjeana Marie – was your favorite?

Asher. I loved the intonations that she used for him.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yep. And I did.

Great follow up

So I have to say I am a bit disappointed with this book. I was waiting on Eve to be strong and stop leaning on Asher everytime she was scared or in trouble. She whined for most of the book and there was no growth in her character. There are question she should be asking but she so "in Love" she just doesn't. I hate weak female leads and she is weak, she has no depth. If I was made as a weapon for heaven don't just expect me to say ok. Why should I just go along with this plan? How are your rules helping me? Yeah this book was frustrating.

I needed there to be more than this

I loved book 1. Book 2 was equally as incredible. The story is gripping and the characters are engaging. It's awesome :D

Amazing!

So far I can’t get enough of this series, I’m completely consumed by it. I feel so invested in what happens with Eve, Asher and their rolls in what happens between good vs evil. I love this series so far and highly, highly recommend it to read. The only thing I don’t like is the Author is a little repetitive with saying some of the same thing’s, but I still love the characters and story line.

Unbelievably awesome!
