Publisher's Summary

Women desire to live well. However, living well in this modern world is a challenge. The pace of life, along with the new front porch of social media, has changed the landscape of our lives. Women have been told for far too long that being on the go and accumulating more things will make their lives full. As a result, we grasp for the wrong things in life and come up empty.

Mommy-blogger Courtney Joseph is a cheerful realist. She tackles the challenge of holding on to vintage values in a modern world, starting with the keys to protecting our walk with God. No subject is off limits as she moves on to marriage, parenting, and household management. There is nothing more important than fostering your faith, building your marriage, training your children, and creating a haven for your family. Women Living Well is a clear and personal guide to making the most of these precious responsibilities.

This book grabbed me from the misconceptions and b

This book grabbed me from the misconceptions and bad attitude I had about being an excellent wife. I had a bitter attitude and a godless perception on how a wife should should care for her husband. This book has created a spark for me to change the bitterness and unforgiving heart and become a better wife and woman. This book was a blessing from God. I didn't get answers from this book, instead I got a new perception.

I had many takeaways from this book, but I just wasn't fond of it. I will still to Lisa Turkeurst Christian books.

Excellent - Lifechanging

Would you listen to Women Living Well again? Why?

Absolutely - I'm listening to it for the fourth time this month.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Women Living Well?

I appreciate all the great info; especially the stories of Courtney's own experience. The challenges and scripture throughout the book have put a little fire under my seat.

What about Dara Rosenberg’s performance did you like?

She is SO pleasant to listen to, and enunciates so clearly that I can speed up the book to 1.45x and still understand clearly. With four children I don't have much choice but to listen quickly during chores!!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

How to find joy in your God, your man, your children and your home.

Any additional comments?

I highly recommend any woman of child-bearing age read this book!

A Must Read for Moms and Wives

This is one of the best motivational Christian books I have read. I enjoyed how biblically sound it was and how the author always referenced scripture. I also appreciated how the author would give examples of what she does as a mom and a wife but would tell the readers that this is just what she has found to be helpful and it might not work for others. She was inspiring and our family has been greatly blessed by her words.
