Publisher's Summary

Some Christians believe strongly in the existence of demons and spiritual warfare. Others downplay or even ignore the idea. With such divergent views, how are Christians supposed to know the truth about demonic forces at work in this world?

The Invisible War examines what every believer needs to know about Satan, demons, and spiritual warfare, offering a balanced look at this controversial subject. This provocative book will help Christians understand what the Bible says about these threats and will show them how they can safeguard themselves and their families through prayer. The Invisible War offers a balanced look at what is going on in the spiritual realm and what believers can do to defend themselves.

Good book overall but...

The narrator read too fast in my opinion. Also I was expecting detail in what ways to pray or certain prayers to say. overall it was okay.

Good Listen

Would you try another book from Chip Ingram and/or Dave Drui?

I probabaly would, although it was not as indepth as I'd have liked. A little more scripture and biblical parallels would be good.

A Fantastic Read!

Where does The Invisible War rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book ranks very high, actually the highest!

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Invisible War?

Where the Author

Have you listened to any of Dave Drui’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I've listened to Dave interview Chip over the radio.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Come see what the spirits see.

Any additional comments?

I like Chip Ingram because he is down to earth. He isn't pretentious with any of his material. I was supporting his Radio Ministry for a while but couldn't keep up. I was very happy when the information listed at the amazon.com page was so correct and true about the Invisble warfare going on around us each day. I quickly purchased the audio book and I listen and relate to everything I have heard so far and I'm about halfway through the book.

Very Balanced and very encouraging

As usual we can expect a solid teaching on the subject and kept me very mindful of the daily battle that we are taking part in. I recommend this listen highly.

Excellent book because demons are a real threat

What did you love best about The Invisible War?

This book is a good guide that everyone should listen to. The length is about right. Demons are best avoided at all costs, by avoiding non-Christian religions, the occult, yoga, Tarot cards, some types of music, horror stories or horror movies, vampires, drugs, hypnosis, and so on. Demons are real and can insert thoughts and/or images in one's mind, can appear in physical form, and can control a person's body. The Catholics are the best people to consult on these matters, in my opinion.

What did you like best about this story?

The author adheres to a proper Biblical treatment of the subject matter.

Any additional comments?

A more detailed approach is provided by Derek Prince's book: They Shall Expel Demons. Derek Prince is a very well educated and experienced pastor from about fifty years ago.

Fair and Balanced

I was encouraged and blessed listening as well as reading along with this book. Chop offers some amazing insights and some practical break down of a very important subject which is going around us all the time. We all would do well to pick up this book and add it to our collections. I definitely keep this one and make it a permanent re-listen and resource to go back to time and time again.

We are in a battle! MS

I absolutely love this book! It is great at explaining that there is an invisible war raging in our world. The book uses scripture to show examples of the war we are in. How the Devil deceives us, steals our joy, and comes to attack us in our times of weakness. It shows us how we can be deceived, or maybe are deceiving others.

If you are struggling to be faithful to God, this book is a road map to get you back on track. As believers of Christ, we will all struggle. But, God is with us through our struggles. We will see and experience God if we search for Him. Even through our difficulties.

The Invisible War: What Every Believer Needs To Know about Satan, Demons, and Spiritual Warfare gives many examples of scripture, and how to use it to see God's truth. I highly recommend this book!! I have the audio version, and will be purchasing a copy so I can study it more in depth. This is a book I will be listening to and studying again and again. very good book!!! Very helpful and insightful!!
