Elizabeth Bennet happens upon Georgiana in Ramsgate, along with her companion and an old family friend. Her new acquaintance seems to have everything: family, fortune and love. But when Elizabeth observes some strange things, she suspects that all is not as it appears, and a few well-intentioned words set into motion a surprising series of events.

Fitzwilliam Darcy’s desperate search for his missing sister leads him to meet a young lady, Miss Elizabeth Bennet, who has fine eyes but lacks wealth and has completely unsuitable connections. His mind is made up; he will depart Ramsgate and forget this woman. His heart has other ideas.

Wickham threatens to make trouble for both the Darcys and the Bennets. Mr. Darcy has spent years cleaning up Wickham’s trail of debts and other indiscretions, never able to bring himself to take decisive action. Surely there is a way to deal with this miscreant once and for all?

Love each of her stories

I have enjoyed each of her stories that I have read and/or listened to. They are uplifting and I love the relationship of Darcy and Elizabeth. In this story Elizabeth meets and befriends Georgiana at Ramsgate prior to canon. This friendship causes Georgiana to reconsider some observations and finds safety with Elizabeth and her aunt. This friendship helps Darcy to process some of the prejudice feelings before meeting the rest of Elizabeth’s family. I love that Wickham is truly taken care of. This is a story that I will gladly re-listen to again especially as the talented Harry Frost brought this to life.

Very enjoyable

So easy to read this in one day, esp. if you raise the speed slightly. Quite a nice story, excellent voice actor, and a very good time for all.

I enjoyed this book but I couldn’t get past the “rate and review” until I did so. I didn’t appreciate that.

Loved Every Moment

This is such a great story from beginning to end. There are so many great moments. The premise takes us to a different Pride and Prejudice with every joy at each new step. Harry Frost is wonderful as the reader.

Sweet and interesting twist

I really appreciated this version of pride and prejudice! It’s sweet, entertaining and just over all enjoyable story. The narrator does a good job expressing emotions too.
