Great read

This was a great read. I laughed out loud many times when Harry Frost is Lady Catherine :) absolutely brilliant. This book had a lot of added short stories which was on the same subject. Great Jaff.

Harry Frost..automatic buy

One of my favorite authors paired with a great narrator makes an excellent book beyond perfect. It was fun seeing Lady C and Anne in different roles. I loved the plot of this story. The vigilante aspect was brilliant and creative. Recommend.

Funny and different than any other jaff I’ve listened to

I absolutely loved this, lady Catherine was the best version of herself and Ann was strong, definitely would love more like this

Amazing and Unique Variation

This was a wonderful compilation of stories. It was a brilliant departure for Lady Catherine and Anne. The premise was great and I loved the Golden Daffodil twist. The Narration of Harry Frost was also brilliant.

A new favorite!

With the exception of one person, the regular characters were given kinder personalities! The narrator is always perfect and the author has been a favorite. I’ll be listening to this story again!

Delightful Story

This story is so much fun that I started the second reading as soon as it finished. This is a new favorite.

Regency Girl Power!

This was an excellent listen. But, with Harry Frost, can you ever go wrong?!? The concept of a secret organization protecting vulnerable women at that time is refreshing and novel. This expanded edition actually includes three mini-adventures after the main story finishes. Absolutely delightful! Low angst and clean romance.

Justice, Lady Cat Style

For me, this variation leans more towards lighthearted than the subject matter would suggest. I mean, Wickham dying from gunshot wounds isn’t exactly funny, but the way he is outsmarted by Lady Catherine’s girl’s justice league had me cheering for them. I’ve read the book twice, but once again, Harry Frost breathes life into the characters and upgrades the written words into entertainment. I especially liked the way he transitions Anne’s voice from meek-as-a-mouse to Commanding Lady. Ditto for Lady Catherine acting the part of a looney drunk better than a Drury Lane pro. Priceless! It’s a very enjoyable listen! ⭐️

Very Entertaining

I am not a huge fan of Ms Kendig’s books but I always at least try them because when she is good, she is very good. I don’t mind the Christian themes but I generally find her books to be too sweet. This is definitely an ensemble cast, not a D&E love story. All the characters are fleshed out but without tedious detail - well done on the economy! There is one scene that is hilarious and while I really enjoyed it when I read the book, Mr Frost had me laughing until I cried. On that note, the narration was superb, I especially love how he voices Mr Collins. Highly recommend.
