Nice synthesis!!

The author does a very nice job of taking a lot of the superficiality out of Personal development and really does deliver on some practical techniques to make this your final self-help book.

Outstanding book

This book aggregates a range of different self-help philosophies into a clear and innovative framework for actively moving to a state of peace and success. It is an easy read given the authors informal and conversational writing style. I recommend it highly.

Excellent~ but I'll need the book to do activities

I thought this was an absolutely amazing book and highly recommend it! I learned a lot. It reminded me of The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. (The Four Agreements changed my life when I read it and continues to have a profound effect on my life!!!!) I really needed to hear some of the teachings of the book as well because this book took things further than the Four Agreements. In a good way. AS I WAS LISTENING TO THIS AUDIO in the car, I WAS SITTING NEXT TO THE PERSON THAT IMOST CURRENTLY NEEDED TO DO THE WORK FOR (my dad). I really had to roll Matthew's teachings around in my head... Yes, it was terribly hard to give up being "right" and accept that maybe every way was ok (even when I had previously thought of my dad as being in the wrong for his "terrible" and "abusive" behavior my whole life prior to this book). Well, I'm not there yet BUT I am working on it thanks to Matthew Ferry!

The only downfall is that I feel like I need the book to see the websites mentioned and see the lists. I wish there was a PDF atttached to this book.

A Must Read for ANYONE wanting an EPIC LIFE!!. Matthew's Book works. I have been fortunate to follow Matthew for the last few decades and I love his stuff. Matthew has a way of cutting thru the BS and delivering. Knowing Matthew Ferry has improved my life and his book ... and the meditations included ... ground me when I need it the most. And Now ... I am in control of my mind. And it is peaceful. I love my mind. Thank you Matthew.
