The now widely known map of calibrated levels of consciousness was presented in Power vs. Force in 1995 and has been translated into all the world's major languages.

This was followed by The Eye of the I (2001), I: Reality and Subjectivity (2003), and Truth vs. Falsehood (2005), which explored the levels of truth reflected throughout society. Transcending the Levels of Consciousness returns to the exploration of the ego's expressions and inherent limitations and gives detailed explanations and instructions on how to transcend them.

As with the listening of Dr. Hawkins' previous books, the listener's level of consciousness is advanced as a consequence of exposure to the information itself. This opens up avenues to the relief of suffering for oneself and others, which fulfills the purpose of the work and the intention to facilitate the listener's own enlightenment.

Coolest Map of Consciousness

There are a handful of maps of consciousness by authors like Wilber, Maslow, etc.
Hawkins model is unique in that it focuses exclusively on state of emotionality.
The implied thesis is that emotions, or states of consciousness, govern our lives.
So each emotional state gets its own chapter outlining the pros and cons.
Extremely well written and convincing assessment of life as we experience it.
Really helps us understand where we are at, where we have been, and where we might like to be.
I mean, you can really, really grow through an honest self-assessment and by paying attention to the chapters in this book.
One of the most useful books on Psychology ever written.
Sure we'd all like to skip the line and become pure Love and Enlightenment but I am realistic and for now am still trying to master basic positive attributes such as 'Neutrality', 'Willingness', 'Acceptance', and 'Reason'.

Highly recommend for anyone who strives to raise your consciousness. The book can kind of get down in the weeds and if I started to zone out, I had to go back and re-listen. It’s very pithy and you must maintain concentration to fully capture all of the information. It’s a great book and enabled me to discern within my own actions when I was acting out of ego (calibrates below 200) or consciousness (above 200). I like to think I operate mostly in the willingness or forgiveness level but, like most other humans, I can dip into anger, or other ego states. This helped me understand the levels of consciousness and how to practice to move toward higher levels of consciousness. I loved this book!

This breakdown is amazing.

All as I know is that I know nothing. Easy to follow and understand but above my head nonetheless. An honest guide is needed for this transformation or transition. Hawkins bio at the end was the icing on the cake.
