did she or didn't she, that is a question
One thing I've learned of the Quarry series is that you don't learn ''who dunit' until the end of the book. The formula is the same as most of the others in the series, Quarry convincing someone that somebody is out to get them and getting them to pay for it. But with a title with ex in it, makes you wonder if his ex-wife, that did him the big nasty when he came home from Nam, might be the person behind his latest situation? Well, you have to listen to the book to find out!
