I'm addicted to my stalker.

He watches me at night, sneaking in through my living room window and making my blood turn to ice. I feel him all around me as chills snake down my spine. Each night he becomes bolder, getting closer and welcoming himself into my bedroom, feeding his addiction.

When I feel the warmth of his skin brushing over mine, I pretend to sleep, terrified of what he plans to do with me. But when he touches me… my whole body comes alive.

I've never seen his face, and don't even know his name, but I want to. Every part of me knows this is wrong, but I can't bring myself to lock the window, to tell him no.

He thrills me, but living life on the edge doesn't come without consequences.

He's sick in the head, addicted to this infatuation, and obsessed with his messed-up mind games. But maybe I'm just as sick as he is because, whether I like it or not… I'm addicted to my stalker.

Sheridan Anne's Pretty Monster is a dark, suspenseful romance that will leave you breathless. The story follows Kyah, a woman caught in a dangerous love triangle with two obsessive men. The intense plot twists and morally ambiguous characters create a thrilling ride. Be warned: this book is not for the faint of heart. It's a rollercoaster of emotions and explicit content.

*Trigger warning: stalking, violence.*

I guess serial killer tropes are not my thing. I was not surprised at the reveal, I figured it out pretty early so the story bored me a bit. I had to push through because I felt the FMC was not very bright and very naive.

Maybe just not for me…

Truly is a spicy dark romance, I also laughed out loud at Reid’s inner dialogue! Give it a try if you’re into twisted dark romance.

Pretty damn hot

review contains spoilers;

The writing can be a little too cliche at times, "You're trouble.." - "you have no idea.." and every guy is just so hot and sexy and confident and hung, for some reason they all know how to talk dirty to her and she melts with every guy, but also "she's not easy"? I also don't care for this harem angle they're playing, 4 guys is way too many love interests. FMC is frustrating too, she wants a guy to respect her boundaries or it won't work, but also push my boundaries and cross the line? I was rolling my eyes too hard that she laid her biggest crush (out of three total crushes) SO early, was desperately hoping it wouldn't be obvious that yep they are banging and yep he's a sex god.

I hated hearing any of the girls parts, story and VA, BUT the Male VA is phenomenal and gives me great creeped out vibes that compliment excitement to hear his tone, it's just super awkward that this book wasn't done as a duet. His deep voice having to play any of the girls characters is only a little less embarrassing to hear than the female VA doing the men's voices. Her male voice is ABSOLUTELY immersive breaking, and even 4 audiobooks later I can still hear her voice in my head it was so bad.

Please redo this as a duet my god I beg you
