Powerful Techniques

This is not for the beginner. It does not provide scales to practice with, but it does provide 19 (I think) amazing techniques, most of which I have never heard about before, and I've read a lot of the most common books on singing technique. A few that stand out; practicing a challenging song after a vocal workout, "belly" register, (makes a lot of sense) and many others. Highly recommended if you have already taken voice lessons, otherwise, I suspect, you might not understand the nuances of the techniques. Thank you James for this wonderful book. I've also tried his other audio program, which is a hypnosis or guided meditation of sorts; extremely powerful and effective.

Good refresher

I haven’t sung professionally for quite sometime now. This book is a great refresher on how to manage your voice, before and after a show. Especially if you are serious about singing again.

Very Informative and To the Point

I would recommend this book for experienced singers as a lot of the book uses references to exercises and other books.

Powerful Techniques

This is really a fantastic program, and really cheap! I've pain hundreds of dollars for the expensive online singing courses, but this one has better information and a stronger approach than anything else I've encountered. It covers all the main aspects of beautiful singing; high notes, tone, volume, stamina, and more. The author is a well known voice teacher here in California, and I highly recommend this audio program.

The Best Beginner Singing Audiobook I’ve Found

This is the best beginner singing audiobook I’ve found so far on Audible. I’ve downloaded several and this has given me the most actionable info. I wish the book included actual scales for follow along to, but the author explains which scales to follow (and anyone with a basic understanding of the piano can record their own—as I did).
This book is well-written and helpful.
The narrator is pleasant to listen to.
