Wow!

I’m not usually a fan of cliffhangers, but this one is awesome! The story is engaging and the characters are fascinating. I can’t wait for book2!

Narration is absolutely fantastic!!

This book was pretty good. It was a little slow, but the end the suspense, waiting for the next book to come out on audible.

Amazing story and once again Ms James threw a curveball that I did not see coming!! OMG. Can’t wait to see what happens in book 2!!!!

Heist is another great Tate James success story. Absolutely enthralled with the characters and the storyline. Cliffy ever present and I’m here for it !! The narration is TOP TIER!

Tate makes readers hurt so good

The duet style narration is top notch. Tate James is an evil queen if cliffhangers! MF contemporary thrilled in the Shadow Grove world. Great plot twists. Very steamy!

I have read every one of Tate James books. She always has awesome narrators!! I love that all of the series are connected but not connected. They are in the same world, and make appearances here and there. I LOVE IT, and I can’t wait to hear more!!!

I finished this book hours ago and I still have yet to pick my jaw up off the floor from that ending. That ending was just… wow… ok I did not see that one coming one bit.

This book is seriously so epic and I loved every second of reading it. Tris is an awesome character. She is so comfortable with herself as a person and not afraid to snark back at John. John is on the hunt for a very specific painting so he can win the Games for a 6th time & Tris is his key to it. What starts as a means to an end definitely progresses much further & oh boy, does it explode in so many ways.

This book has an age gap, forbidden romance (professor and TA), a snarky artist, a world renowned thief and a whole lot of lies. This makes for such an amazing read. I cannot wait to dive into book 2!

The audiobook for this one is so good & I loved the duet narration for this book!

Dream team narrators!

I love every Tate James book I listen to. Lucas Webley and Michelle Sparks are the dream team for narrators. They bring John and Tris to life. I cannot wait for book 2.

That plot twist cliff hanger ending is even better in audio.

John and Tris. This book had it all… tension, angst, enemies to loves, professor and his TA, professional thief, artists being artistry naked and masterbating (Read it to know). I really like this book.
John is a professional theif and every couple of years there is a game to see who can be considered the best. This years games is high for John because the prize is his grandfathers legacy. John goes undercover at a school so he can get access to Tris. Tris is his TA and the only way he can get access to a painting that he needs for the game. Tris fights John tooth and nail. She wants nothing to do with him and he infuriates her to no end.
I’m reading this after having finish the Madison Kate Series by the same author and I have to say. The quality of writing has improved since then. This book was so much better then that one so far and this is only book 1.

Say WHAT!!!

Tate James!! Absolutely loved this! The storyline was super engaging and kept you wondering Al the backstories to the characters. It was obvious that Tris and her lovely elderly neighbors had more going for them than what seemed but that ending! Fabulous! I also loved all the call backs to previous Shadow Grove/Guild characters and special appearances of Steele and Archer. I felt fully immersed back into the world of Shadow Grove and I want more! The narration as always with Lucas and Michelle is top notch. I love that Tate continues to use them to keep the consistency of the characters. Lucas’ ability to recall his previous narration for Steel and Archer was brilliant and to also create new voices for John, Igor, Sin…Lucas is absolutely brilliant and a master at his art. Michelle is a pure goddess of narration as well and connects you to her characters. I can’t wait for the next one and I know I could go physically read the next book but with golden narration that brings the story to such epic levels of life I don’t know if it would be the same.
