Felix thought the game was over - turns out it was just beginning....

When the game makes its first appearance in weeks, Felix can barely believe it. However, a quest relating to his father’s whereabouts is something he just can't ignore. He soon finds himself on a class field trip to Cityburg where he hopes to find the elusive professor Stein and learn the truth. Then the fuzzing begins. But feral pigeons, slime monsters, and big city thieves are the least of his worries. Felix and his friends realize they are not the only players in the game. They have walked into a PvP battleground for which they are underleveled and unprepared for. To make matters worse, the game no longer works as it did before, and now even the NPCs are in danger. Looks like a house-cat summoning Beastmaster, a nerdy Necromancer, and an ex-cheerleader Barbarian are going to need to save the world...again.

I’ll be honest, at first I thought this was going to be a little light on depth. But after listening to the entire story, I had to set back a couple of times to recover from the nice character development and occasional twists. Pavi has a very nice vocal range and each character is immediately identifiable. These two make for a killer combo. If you like litRPG or anything adjacent, check out this series/continue it with this sequel. It’s quite enjoyable.

An enjoyable romp

I actually read Gamified a couple of years ago and opted to not read Player vs Player as I wasn't sure how I'd like reading something like that. But I had really enjoyed Brook Aspden's storyline and knew that I'd prolly enjoy this one too, and wow I found that now the price was just too good to pass up. Plus Pavi Proczko has a awesome narrative persona. In this story Felix along with his companions and with his Beast friend Mr Biggles and they all realize that the computer generated game isn't done playing with them. Despite shutting down the system and subsequently destroying the computer itself. There's still plenty of game left and answers to find, answers that burned in Felix's soul!!! Felix even found Patches a new Beast friend to bond with, adding to their pack...
So yeah you'll wanna grab Gamified: Player vs Player... and then hope that Brook Aspden's imaginary friends insist on telling their story one more time! That B.A. will take the time from his day job to release that story into the wild... well at least on podium books. 😆

Here's a couple of quotes that amused me:

"Larry looked over at Felix. “It’s like finding out a killer shark also does crochet on the weekends…” Felix just laughed. His girlfriend was awesome."

"Description: Is it getting hot in here? Lava is the molten anger of the bowels of the earth, it consumes everything in its path."Ohhhh my

Ohhhh myyy best book evarrr. You’ll half'a add this book to your pack!!!

The game is back with more players. It was an interesting tale, with many questions and who the players are. The pop star gave me a big question, how old is she? By how she talks I would say under 8 years old. There was a interesting twist at the end with a lot of lost. My favorite character has to be Patches, he is funny.

An Enchanting Struggle

5 starts isn't a high enough rating for this book. I truly loved book 1, have listened to it about a dozen times so far, but with book 2 Aspden truly hit it out of the park.

the world is alive, the characters living and breathing and making it such an enjoyable experience.

if you like Isekai anime AT ALL, you simply MUST give this series a listen!

I C.A.N.N.O.T. RECOMMEND THIS HIGHLY ENOUGH.
