Never a fan of Opie & Anthony

I never was a fan of O&A as I grew up listening to Howard Stern. Also living in Chicago we didn't get O&A on the radio, as far as I know. I had heard about them from Howard and in the news and had always figured they were a ripoff of Stern and Dahl and other innovators of radio. What I learned from this book is they had their own thing and they really were focused on developing their own audience and style.

If you have never heard O&A or only heard their clips online, I would strongly recommend this book. The stories are really funny and interesting and give you a good perspective of the radio world from terrestrial to satellite to podcasts and beyond. I think Anthony is an interesting person and tells an interesting story. I was laughing at parts and some of the stories made me think. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that likes talk radio and/or comedy.

This was a great listen. Anthony knows his fans just want someone to connect with and be heard.

Great Stuff, Anthony's Radio Skill On Full Display

Loved it! I was waiting for the audiobook version because Anthony is a radio pro and I wasn't disappointed. Anthony is so natural at talking that he makes a fantastic audio version. The book has hilarious previously untold stories and different retellings of some of the classics that any new fans need to hear. This made the time fly by and I'd recommend it to anyone at all interested in comedy.
