Publisher's summary

The Russian Revolution was as red as blood. The Bolsheviks promised that they were building a new society, a workers’ paradise that would change the nature of mankind itself. What they ended up constructing was the largest prison the world had ever seen: a Union of Soviet Socialist Republics that spanned half the globe.

It was a country where people's lives meant nothing, less than nothing—and they knew it. But no matter what atrocity that the Soviets committed—the secret police, the torture chambers, the show trials, the labor camps, and the mass starvation—there was always someone in the West rushing to justify their bloodshed. For decades, it seemed perfectly obvious that the USSR wasn’t going anywhere—until it vanished from the face of the earth, gradually, and then suddenly. This is the story of the rise and fall of that evil empire, and why it is so important for the good to never give up hope. This is The White Pill.

Do not buy the audio version.

Awesome content and always support MM. I’m sure I’m like many who were very annoyed with his narration. I like the New Right’s reading by MM but this one not so much. Maybe he got lazy by subcontracting out the AH, who knows. I’m pretty sure he was helping his friends and that’s admirable. But this book should have been contracted to a professional reader since he saved so much on publishing. It almost sounds like it’s read by some AI program and lacks inflection and timing. Sounds fake and shame on you MM for self publishing this rushed through version.

Fantastic!

Another great book from Michael and his best and most important yet! However, the audio was too fast and seemed like it was edited to the point that you could not distinguish the end of a sentence.

Lowest of lows and in highest of heights in one

The white pill is the culmination of the struggle for power. With power ultimately being freedom.

Malice at his best!

Authoritarians will get what's coming to them... they always do. I will never stop resisting tyranny. I will always fight for freedom.

A history never taught

The book was very well paced, and assembled, continuing to create detailed imagery the entire time with no falling off. I hope deeply this will become taught in schools in the future as it paints a great image of what people can be subjected to throughout even entire generations.

Take the White Pill

I cannot recommend this book highly enough. It is a difficult read, because it should never be easy to read about what was done to the peoples of Eastern and Central Europe by communist regimes. But it is a worthwhile experience.

Unlike many in the West, this was not new information for me. I know what they did. But it ripped my soul apart all the same to hear about the depths of cruelty plumbed by monsters like Lenin, Stalin, Beria, Ceaușescu, Honecker, and all the petty, diabolic, monstrous little men and women who helped them destroy the lives of the peoples behind the Iron Curtain.

These crimes should never be forgotten. The bravery of those who stood against them should be shouted from the rooftops until the end of days. And, most importantly, we should never forget that Evil does not always win. We are not destined suffer defeat after defeat, world without end at the hands of the forces of Darkness itself. That, as Malice so eloquently puts it, is the White Pill.

(Requisite foul-language/disturbing-content warning: This book is not pulling punches. The author does not use profanity just because, but he isn't bothered by it either. Also, to be frank, the stories of torture and oppression should bother you way more than some ugly language.)

Best thing Mike has done since cash cab.

This my favorite book of the year. Also the only book I’ve consumed this year.

There is hope

Holy shit. Some parts are hard to hear but it’s a beautiful, necessary trip through history that ends in hope.

Excellently researched

The amount of research and citations in this books is remarkable and truly horrifying to not know just how despicable the Soviet regime was. Bravo Mr. Malice, cannot thank you enough for your blood sweat and tears you put into this book

Riveting and Horrifying

The atrocities covered are astonishing. The story of how Yeltsin and Gorbachov almost lost control of Russia but against all odds freedom prevailed had me on the edge of my seat. What an important book!
