One Tuesday changes everything for Robert Williams. A cosmic entity known as the System arrives, selecting him—a suburban father and engineer—as Earth's sole representative for integration. He has six months to say goodbye to his family before being exiled to another universe for over 400 years. Guided by an AI companion and gifted with powerful starting perks, Robert must navigate a new reality defined by levels, skills, magic, and dungeon crawls. From learning basic spells to crafting powerful artifacts and facing down monstrous foes, Robert races against time, not just for his own survival, but to prepare his loved ones and maybe even his planet for a future transformed by the System.

This was a very impressive book. It took a completely different approach to the system apocalypse story. I have found this approach to be very interesting and a nice twist on the story. I look forward to the next books in the series.

Very impressive

Such a good story, with character and system and world development, I just wish it was longer.

This guy seems pretty ignorant of how life and people really are. As soon as he starts putting out information on the system and magic his family would immediately be at risk. He may be able to protect himself but there’s no way he can be everywhere to protect his whole family! All those people would have to do is take one of his family and he would be at their mercy. You better believe people would do it too! Apparently they are all decked out in plot armor so it’s never really a concern. Making sure other people are ready for the system is more important than protecting his own family, right? Oh and did you forget? You won’t be around to protect them in a few months either, so what then?

Meh

Some tiny spoilers ahead.
Book is alright with nothing erotic/creepy/triggering. Nothing stated below is truly DNF worthy since it isn't deus ex "MC suddenly makes an out of character move to drive the plot forward".
The book suffers from an author that has not read/listened to other litrpg books. Huge stat sheet readings that repeat the entire status including skill/spell descriptions after the MC adds 1 stat point to an attribute or adds a new spell. This would be fine in the beginning but even the MC comments about the huge stat sheet yet does not attempt to shorten it or to only display changes etcetera hence the comment about the author not having read other litrpg books. MC also makes some IQ-seagull level choices since his main concern is protecting his family yet he does not choose a profession that explicitly states creating automatons among other things despite having an ultra op class about creating things. He also decides that it's fine to inform the government about his powers and the system since he himself should be safe from them yet never even considers that they may just take his family hostage and since he would never risk their lives he'd be obliged to obey.

Alright but also annoying
