Awesome world building and culture references at same time

I like the world building, the expansion on the astral powers and the development of the characters. The narrators did a good job. Could feel the emotions the characters were feeling while listening.

A Good Start

I have heard about this series for years and was excited to see it come to audio. Overall it is very good! Due to a difference in cultures however, there are some rough spots in my opinion (ex: sister/ brother complex). After ignoring that, I am hopeful for book 2 to come to audio.

Great beginning to massive story

Love the progression/ base building system being the foundation of this action packed story with some crunchy “numbers go up” moments, With enjoyable characters that have a lot of growth potential. Only downside I have is some of the vocal performances seemed to have some odd inflections that knocked out some of the immersion for me.

Finally!

I love this series and have been waiting for it to be an audiobook so I could restart and experiance it all again. Hopeing it picks up enough people to make the rest of the series. I would love to hear how some of the later characters are brought to life.
