WOW!! 5⭐️’s!!

This book is absolutely fabulous!! I’ve listened to over 50 audiobooks and this is the best one yet! Great story and perfect narration!!

Fantastic Debut

This book has multiple POVs and two timelines but the multi-narrator-audiobook does it so well that it’s easy to follow. I don’t want to say much about the story itself but just that I ATE IT UP! Fantastic debut by Kelsey Cox.

Great twist at the end

This started a bit slow but wove together the story lines at the end brilliantly. A really good read well worth a credit.

AMAZING!

Twist after twist after twist. All the way until the last few words. I thought I “figured it out” 100 times. Excellent book, fast paced and beautifully written. And the narrators were all pitch perfect. HIGHLY recommend!

It’s So Good!!!!!!!!

Yall, it’s SO good! So many deep and complicated characters. So thought provoking. Just when you think you’ve got it figured out, another twist!!!! Love all the TX references. The writing, so many lines stick out. Kelsey’s descriptions of motherhood, specifically of an infant, spot on! I can’t wait to read the actual text with a highlighter!!!!!

What great twists and turns up to the very last sentence! Great book, I want more from this author.

A definite 5 star ⭐️

Typically I am not a fan of twists or endings that seem to come out of nowhere. BUT there was just enough of a few sprinkled clues, innuendos, wait what’s, that’s left me grinning at the end after binging this listen. It does take a bit to find a place but then it takes off. That’s because this book is a slow burn creating a delicious psychological tension with the added bonus of really getting to know the characters during that time and trying to determine what is really happening. Lots of subplots going on but not in a distracting way maybe to heighten the chaos and unexpected. Really enjoyed listening to this one.

Full cast of talented narrators provide unique voices, accents, emotional ranges to help bring this very well written novel to life!!
