Great advice

This book has helped me a lot. I depend on it, now, for most of my cooking and recipes. Paleo-AIP is overwhelming and this book brings it down to a doable level. I am not in love with all of the recipes but they are a dramatic dietary change and will take getting used to.

Simple, straightforward, and thorough

I found this “one-sitting read” to be incredibly helpful in getting me started. I’ve been on the AIP for three weeks and learned new and important things to assist my wellness journey, including why I’ve had a flare up after starting (not uncommon) and what order to reintroduce foods. Highly recommended.

Nice book for Paleo beginners

This is a nice book for anyone considering a Paleo-based diet. Many of the recipes are easy to follow, and are comfort-food friendly. Some of the ingredients used are exotic, but many can be found in your favorite grocery store.

The Paleo diet has certain restrictions, but the recipes are structured so that you wouldn't miss them. The breakfast recipes are where I would most miss the restricted ingredients, but lunch and dinner recipes would be no problem for me. And I would be delighted to try the desserts. Paleo for Beginners is a delightful book for anyone curious about the Paleo diet, and good for a cookbook enthusiast as well.

Pretty good

It was easy to follow and the recipes weren't too difficult. But the amount of food made in each was way more than my family of 4 needed so I bought way more groceries for the first week than I needed.

This was my favorite

I bought two books on starting the Paleo diet. This was my favorite one of the two. Very well write, easy to follow and understand, not too technical. Plus the recipes are great, doable, and delicious.

Looking for recipes

Will listen again once I find where I placed it. I believe you are what you eat. Everybody is different based on their blood type. I also bought the blood type chart which explains why certain items give me stomach ache because they are toxin for my blood type. I am trying to improve my health and I am taking it one day at a time - starting with what I eat.

Low fat, no salt for dad

I bought this for my parents because my dad had to go on a low fat, no salt diet. Also, my mom cooks for my diabetic grandmother. She said this book has been a life saver and she's listening to portions of it to my dad and grandmother so that they can understand why she is cooking paleo. Also, explain to them the food they are putting in their bodies and what it's doing to for them. Great book

Healthy Lifestyle

The introduction had me wondering if I was up to a diet so strict, but it seemed very interesting that all the things on the restricted list were the ones that were hurting me.
To make a long story short, I'm not better, but thanks to this book, I can now eat recipes that don't hurt me.
The recipes are simple and the setup makes me want to try them. The introduction had me convinced that those gluten-free books were a waste of money.
I'm slowly sneaking paleo recipes into my family's life, and my toddlers love it.

This book is great for beginners to Paleo! It not only contains enough recipes to get you started but its easy listening format explains the paleo benefits and gives weekly meal plans. I highly recommend it for anyone starting.

Good ideas and great recipes. I wish it would have covered more about fermented choices as well. Easy to understand and guidance for making choices for our new lifestyle. We would recommend this book for anyone starting on the Paleo way of life!

The book wasn't drawn out or exhausting

The tips, menus and shopping records made it conceivable to make the progress. It covers such a great amount in such a smaller simple to listen to control. If you purchase just one book on the Paleo Diet unrest, make it this one! This book clarifies a great deal of the what and why behind paleo eating.

Helps with the transition! Amazing book!

This is an amazing book. Starting the AIP is very intimidating and this is a great book to help with that. We have all of the top books and programs and they are great but as a beginner, the information is way too much to take in at once. This book is the transition between complete ignorance on the subject and the super in-depth books. Everyone staring AIP should read this first.
