Courage of those during this horrible period of history
Informative, and as sad as this storyline in the book is, there’s triumph. I’ll definitely be ordering the next in the series.

I love the history with characters which helps make a time a never lived more real
good story, you can realize what life must have been like. I made me think about what I would have done in that time.

Terrific Story
I couldn’t stop listening with development of each character as the story evolves. It was heart breaking but the will to live is victorious in a time of terror

Typical
it was enjoyable but nothing spectacular. It reminded me of Dragnet a little from the 50's. Pretty predictable. I've listened to and read a lot of WW11 stories and some are very exciting. I usually listen to my good audiobooks twice but probably won't listen to this one again because I don't think I missed anything.
