Beautiful
This series kept me listening until the end. It did drag in a few parts but if you enjoy WWII novels these are some of the best.

Horror of war, will to survive
I listened to all three books in the series. Some of it hard to listen to because it’s difficult to realize how cruel people can be to one another

Heart wrenching great book.

Great series!

I NEED AN EPILOGUE!
Amazing story. Performed so well. I felt like I was there in the story. But the end… GAHHHH THE END!!! 😭😭😭 it sucked! I mean it hit me in my feels and I loved it. BUT it ended wayyy too abruptly!! Threeee books in and it ended at an angry hault. There could have been more and I NEED more! Very disappointed with that.

Great story, Great reader.I will look for more books by this author. thank you. WWIi historical fiction is always of interest to me as my dad was in the military back then.

Realistic and horrifying
While I hate the ending, the series gives us an understanding of the horrors that the Nazi regime perpetrated on Europe during WII. At every step the Nazis lied to gain the trust of the people. Wake up America, they are trying to do the same thing here!
