I liked that the book went from past to present’s it held your attention constantly. Very moving story.

I enjoyed the story and the characters. it was an interesting book about a time not that long ago when women really didn’t have a lot of choices, something we often take for granted today.

Historical Fiction/Strong Women

I love historical fiction, this fabulous book goes one better. Only one of the three main characters is fictional. I was transported to NYC turn-of-the-century fashion, expectations and societal norms for women. The Colony Club delved into the experiences of three women who dreamed of a different world and how they contributed to change. Great listen!

great story

this was a terrific look into a slice of women's history few would know about. The story was educational and motivated me to find out more about the club and ms. Harriman. I intend to read more about these women through my audible account.

This is a little-known story in women’s history. It has compelling situations and people, both real and fictional. I enjoy historical fiction that lets me look up real people and add their faces to what I imagine. I learned a lot from this story and will be looking up more about it.
