Karga Kizu was only a child when he was kidnapped by a man eating witch. He lived as her servant for ten years before he was rescued. As the semester was about to start, his family enrolled him into the magical Shinzou Academy upon his return. What is more surprising is when he finds that his now banished sister never gave up looking for him and is now missing herself. Kizu needs to figure out how to navigate this new life he finds himself in and find out what happened to his sister!

This is a great start to a magic academy litrpg! The school setting is very interesting and I’m wanting more of the lore. Each character is well developed and has their own motivations. I’m really excited to see where this one goes in the coming books! Jack Voraces does an excellent job with narration.

Best book Ive read in a long time!

This is one of the best books I have read in a long time! If you're a fan of magical worlds, dark secrets, and an academic setting, Blood Curse Academia is a must-read. I absolutely loved this book! Spencer Walther crafts a story that gives off a nostalgic Harry Potter vibe, while standing firmly on its own with a fresh take on the genre.
Whether you're a YA reader or an adult who enjoys fantasy, this book will pull you in. It’s rare to find a story that balances action, atmosphere, and character growth so well, but Walther nails it.
If you're looking for your next obsession, do yourself a favor and pick up Blood Curse Academia.
I can’t wait to read the sequel!

Great story, wonderful narration, unique plot twists, & truly lovable/hate-able characters all combined to make Spencer Walther's first book a true hit.

Every detail of the book, from the character development to the plot, and all of the twists in-between was masterfully done! I cannot wait for the second one!

Enjoyable Story with fun characters

Found this book through reddit and happy I found it. If you like magical schools, this book is for you. You are thrown into this story and it does not slow down. Kizu is a great character among many great characters. Really excited to read book 2!
