Crying, Laughing, Experiencing All The Emotions!!!

Elle Kennedy you’ve done it again!! I finished this book in 2 days!! I couldn’t put it down. I had no expectations going into this book, only knowing that you’d knock it out of the park. Wyatt and Blake are intense and complex and absolutely beautiful together. I wasn’t expecting that 3rd act turmoil!! And you mashed up all the family drama too. I’m excited to see where we keep going with the rest of the kids. Please tel me we’re getting another set of 2nd gen series with the Golden Boys.

Read this series if you love interconnected messy family’s with lots of laughter and drama. This book can be read as a standalone but to understand the dynamics and families I highly recommend you read all the books previously in the Briar Universe as they are all excellent and great stories.

THIS BOOK WAS EVERYTHING

This book WAS/ IS literally everything!! The drama, the plot, the build everything was perfect!! One of my favorite reads from Elle Kennedy (And I’ve literally read ALL of her books lol) !! I love that I guessed what might have happened and then when it did- I was screaming crying throwing up (AT WORK MIND YOU LMAO) !! I don’t want to spoil anything but if you’re even thinking about reading this- DO IT!!! This book made me laugh, cry, THEN laugh and cry harder!! Thank you Elle Kennedy for this masterpiece!! 🫶🫶🫶

P.S- im going to make a guess here and say AJs book is next based on what I read (hehe)!! So excited to see what’s next!!

Swoony and Emotional Dual Narration

So many swoons! Love Song by Elle Kennedy was an addictive and emotional friends-to-lovers romance that did deliciously good things to my heart. I couldn’t get enough of Blake and Wyatt’s heartfelt journey to HEA, full of playful banter and steamy tension that made these two simply irresistible. This one is definitely a new fave from Elle!

Erin Mallon and Connor Crais perform this audiobook in dual narration. This pairing is always a win, and both were spot on, embodying Blake and Wyatt. Erin’s upbeat, vibrant voice captured Blake’s determined and passionate spirit as she went after her feelings for Wyatt and discovered her own hopes and dreams. Connor’s warm, rumbly tone conveyed Wyatt’s protective and broody demeanor as he overcame his writer’s block, found his muse, and gave in to his desire for Blake. Both narrators created an undeniable, spicy chemistry between these two that made me melt so damn hard.

Overall, I LOVED this book. If you are a fan of a summer romance with a dedicated college student needing a fresh start, a hot grumpy musician, bad boy/ good girl, summers at Lake Tahoe, boat rides and bikinis, top tier banter, podcast ambitions, slow burn steam, family visits, surprises, finding your muse, hilarious dad chats, sneaking around, intimate conversations, love declarations, emotional scars, and a HEA that will sing to your soul, then you will love Blake and Wyatt’s story. I always look forward to more from Elle Kennedy.
