the dark side of a childhood story

loved the narrator and the emotion she was able to portray. would definitely recommend

I love this twist on Beauty and the Beast

The beginning pulls you in, wondering what on earth happened. Why was the main character marrying a prince that feared and hated her. There were a bunch of plot twists and I was very happy with the ending. I am relieved that the second book is also included with the audible membership and I look forward to listening it it next

Cannot stand the narrator, but like the book

The narrator has such a start/stop way of speaking. It makes her speech very staccato.
Very delighted for a free book from Amazon. Seems like it’s best for young adults, but I still enjoy it!

One of those great surprises

love this story, I got it for a drive listen and ended up binging it while cleaning house too. I couldn't stop. I love the story reader's voice and storytelling.

Cute story, not a fan of the reader

This book has a cute story, but it felt like the ending was rushed and I would have loved to bask in the “happily ever after” longer. I didn’t really like the reader’s voice or diction.

I loved this book! I was invested in the story and enjoyed all of the twists. I laughed out loud and was all over the place with my feelings! I will be moving on through the series for sure!

Hook, Line, and Sinker

This whole series has quickly become one of my favorites. I have relistened twice now. It's not over complicated with the fantasy elements, there is good character development. while there is definitely a similar formula with each book, overall the individual characters are wonderfully done and interesting. I would highly recommend this. There is also no smut themes. Things may be suggested through the series but it isn't a focal point. making this series a breath of fresh air from some of the newer stuff coming out. (not that I'm against reading that type if stuff lol)

The narrator while used for every book in the series does a good job to subtly give each character their own personality. Her male voice is not annoying in my opinion and she does a good job with both vocals.

Please, please read this series all the way through. The underlying story is fantastic and has so much foresight. The last two books wrap everything up in the best way possible.

Best Retelling of Beauty and the Beast

Retellings of Beauty and the Beast have always been good, but Holy crud! Of Beast and Beauty is SPECTACULAR!! The characters were amazing, and I absolutely LOVE Rosalie and her sharp tongue. It took me a bit before I took to Xander, but was ever grateful for the good character growth for him!! The plot line and storytelling, ooooh. 😍 The story is addictive and selfishly. I only wanted more of the story.

No, there is no spice, but the banter between Xander and Rosalie are freaking amazing, and still a storyline of them growing in love.

I LOVE this book and look forward to the other stories from Chanda Hahn! 👌🏻🥰
