Constant angst

I had a really hard time finishing this book. If you like constant victimization by the female lead, dominance from male lead and constant hard sniffing, then this book is for you.

Amazing New Series and Fantastic Audio Book!

I was so excited when I found out Toxic and Mafia Wars NY were going to be on Audible! I couldn't wait to listen and knew Aaron and Ava would do an absolutely incredible job of bringing this story to life. The stramy scenes were so much hotter and the action was definitely edge of your seat! Already looking forward to the next in the series

Good but….

Was a good listen but the female lead is just so whiny!! She truly becomes hard to sympathize with at times.

This is so far my favorite Maggie Cole book to listen to. I loved how Ava Lucas read Bridget. Several times she had me crying. And Aaron 's sexy voice had me all over the map. I highly recommend this book!!!!

I need a 6th⭐!!!

Well done Maggie! Well done! I've been anxiously awaiting the Toxic release, & it was worth every bit of the wait!! I listened straight through from start to finish. I couldn't put it down! It's fantastic! I was so excited to hear Dante & Bridgete's story. I love way the original Mafia Wars weaves throughout the book. What a beautifully tragic love story. The narration is on point! Can't wait for more!

Great book

The main female lead was a cry baby. But the rest of the book was excellent.

Dante is an inferno!

I was not ready for Dante Marino! He blew me away. I am so thrilled with how Bridget’s story ends. It’s tragically poignant. Maggie Cole continues to knock it out of the park! And I am so thrilled we get to stay in this Mafia world she has gifted us with. Aaron Shedlock and Ava Lucas breathe beautiful life into Dante and Bridget. The pair smashed this performance.

I really liked this story

But, I feel like I was missing so much by not reading the other series first. Don't get me wrong, this is a great story and the narrators really make it enjoyable but the characters from the O'Malley series played a bigger part than I expected so I feel like I missed out on connecting all the dots here.

Toxic is yet another captivating continuation of her Mafia Wars Series - a roller coaster of intense and raw emotions, powerful drama and suspense.

Bridget and Dante's epic love story, spanning over 2 decades, is a riveting tale of endless love, sacrifice, courage and is beautifully well written. Aaron Shedlock and Ava Lucas are absolute perfection. They delivered a fabulous performance and brought the characters and story to life.

I am awe of how MC intricately and masterfully intertwined this continuing mafia wars series. I love how dark and edgy Toxic is, but still so passionate and heartfelt. Well done!! #AudiobookObsessionReviewer🎧 #2022AudiobookChallenge

Maggie Cole does it again!

I swear each new book, Maggie gets better and better. I adored this story. Bridget and Dante were meant to happen and I’ve been waiting for eagerly since the last couple O’Malley books. Ava was the perfect Bridget and Aaron the perfect Dante. The casting, like all other Maggie audios was top notch. Can’t wait for the next book!
