Keeping Her

Keeping Her is the first book in the Keep Me Series. This book is told from multiple points of view from Lucian, Adeline, and Giovanni.

Adeline has had a very sheltered past with a very high-up father in the mafia world. She is to be married to Giovanni. However, Giovanni has a secret and sells her to Lucian to lose her virginity.

Lucian buys virgins due to a rough past, but they are always willing, and he pays them quite well and sends them on their way. However, when Adeline shows up at Lucians, she fights at every turn. He's never met anyone like her, and he wants her like no other woman.

Will Lucian learn that she isn't one of the willing ones? Will Adeline learn who put her up to her kidnapping? Will Lucian and Adeline end up falling for each other?

I really enjoyed this book and all of the twists and turns. I can't wait to see what happens next with these characters!

What a story!!!

This book at first was a difficult listen with some of the subjects the went into! I ended up loving it!! The life of a daughter in the mob! She is so unsure of herself and who she can trust! Very excited for part 2.

Twisted, suspenseful, corruption

This is my first book by Angela Snyder. While the book itself started slow IMO, it finished with a bang! Its deliciously dark and tantalizingly twisted. It ends with a HUGE cliffhanger, and Im not so patiently waiting for the release of book 2.

Dark and Twisted!

This was my first Angela Snyder's book, and definitely won't be my last! This is the first book in the Keep Me series, a Dark Romance. Wow! Lucien and Adeline's story is captivating, sizzling, and passionate. Lucien is a complex and enigmatic character, dark, dominant, and revengeful. His past definitely is horrific. His abusive childhood results in an obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Adeline is such a sweet character, strong and kind, but innocent, and naive. She is the daughter of a powerful mafia king. Adeline's fiancé Giovanni is such an awful and disloyal character. Lucien's cousin Jackson is a great and intriguing character. I liked the twists and turns. The world building is enthralling. The story ends with a big cliffhanger, and I can't wait to listen to Saving Him the second and last book in Lucien and Adeline's story. Stephen Borne and Auri Alden are both new narrators to me. They both have a great voice, very pleasant to listen to. I liked their voices together. They are perfect as Lucien and Adeline. #TheFlock

That cliffhanger though!!!

Adeline, the youngest daughter of a mafia boss was kidnapped right in front of her fiancé well he is the one that had it arranged to begin with. He sold her to a man that likes to buy virgins. Lucian, the man who bought her, has serious anxiety and OCD. His childhood has him so messed up that he must have everything super clean.... even the woman he sleeps with. He tells Adeline that once he gets her virginity, like he paid for, he will let her go. After she finally gives herself to him, he finds out that it was her very own fiancé that sold her to him in the first place. So then he wont let her go. After some time, he comes around to trusting her so that she can roam around the grounds and not be locked up in one room all the time.

The story ends with a total cliffhanger. I knew that there would be another book to follow, but I didn't think it was going to end with so much suspense!!! I am totally excited for the next one to come out so that I can continue on with the story of Adeline and Lucian.

If there is anyone that Lucian can make it with, it would be Adeline! She seems to sort of understand his issues and may even be able to help him over come some of them! But now I have to wait to find out.....

Edit to add: I read this book 5 years ago and I have just listened to the audio. It was just as great as I remember. Gio pissed me off. Lucien was breaking my heart with all his issues. And Adeline had me feeling all her insecurities and loneliness! And just like before I can not wait for the next book!!!

Keeping Her

I enjoyed listening to this story, but what a cliffhanger! I don't want to give anything away, but I will say the story is an incredibly slow burn -kind of- with two damaged main characters that start to find some healing with each other, or do they? LOL It really is a great book, and I am eager for the second, final part of the story. Definitely Worth your time!

Deliciously Dark

Deliciously dark seems an apt description of this book! Not at all what I was expecting... it was even better! An OCD captor acquires a mafia princess to satisfy his needs. Usually it's a one and done thing, but not Adaline. He can't seem to let her go. And wow is it hot!

An absolute rollercoaster

This is book 2 in the Keep me series and was an absolute ride.

I how possessive, intense and flawed Lucian was.
Adelaine was his complete opposite. Her sweetness and innocence is what drew him to her like a moth to a flame.

The plot had me hooked and the overall story was fast paced.

I loved the characters' growth
Cant wait to dive into the next one after that epic cliffhanger.

The dual narration was enjoyable!

this is crazy...but it hooked me

This is a crazy, dark, convoluted, full of depravity, trigger warning full story....but it hooked me. I NEEDED to know what would happen, if these two could find a happy ending.... AND jeeze that cliffhanger....
