Auden is barely making it in high school what with eight classes and taking care of her mom. Meabh is the principal’s daughter and has a meltdown from her extracurricular activities. Meabh begs for help so Aideen pushes her down the stairs to sprain her ankle. The rest is chaos. Funny and heartwarming.

Gem of a novel

This is a wonderful book, written and narrated perfectly. Listen to the well crafted first chapter: in the banal setting of morning registration, Ciara Smyth uses the interactions (and the inimitable thoughts of Aideen) to incisively introduce most of her cast of characters (Miss Devlin: "That's right. You can sit next to your adorable crush smelling like unwashed armpits!") And the snark and sass in the lilt of Sarah Jane Drummey's narrations are spot on. Enjoy this book, it only gets better from there.

Don’t skip this book

It was a really awesome book! Again I’d do disclaimers in the beginning but other than that I loved it. It wasn’t just about YA romance. It had friendships, family issues, comedic relief and a lot heart. Seriously grab this book.

Thoroughly Enjoyed

This is one of the best YA books I've read this year! It was engaging and I've already recommended it to some of my coworkers.

This might have some YA overtones but it’s for adults too. Very funny at times and poignant in places. Good ending. Highly recommend. Really liked it. Writing was intelligent and done well.

This book explores problems. What do you do when your problems are beyond your control......
We all often feel our problems are overwhelming. In this story, we see teens dealing with problems and building friendships.

This is a brilliant Book

I really enjoyed this!!!!The storyline was unique while adding a touch of the movie, "Easy A." I loved how likable, funny, and kindhearted the main character was while not realizing it herself. The love story was cute and kept me eager to find out how they would express their feelings. I get these books for the romance. So I am shocked that I am still satisfied with how little of that there was. Still, I am very happy I came across this! I thoroughly enjoyed all the people who asked for favors and enjoyed the build-up to certain jerks getting what they deserve.

Moreover, I love that it touched on very important topics, including addiction, homophobia, racism, and even bullying (traditional bullying as well as being a bullish kind of "friend")

I love it all. and I look forward to more from this brilliant author/ narrator combo. Hearing more about these characters would be a gift, too! Though mostly, thank you for the light-hearted entertainment that I received as well as the great lifelessons younger readers are sure to get. I'm 34 and can see 12-18year old me gaining a lot from this kind of story. Thank you
