Publisher's summary

The era of hope and change is dead...and it only took six months in office to kill it. Never has an administration taken office with more inflated expectations of turning Washington around. Never have a media-anointed American Idol and his entourage fallen so fast and hard.

In her latest investigative tour de force, New York Times best-selling author Michelle Malkin delivers a powerful, damning, and comprehensive indictment of the culture of corruption that surrounds Team Obama's brazen tax evaders, Wall Street cronies, petty crooks, slum lords, and business-as-usual influence peddlers. In Culture of Corruption, Malkin reveals:

  • Why nepotism beneficiaries First Lady Michelle Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are Team Obama's biggest liberal hypocrites: bashing the corporate world and influence-peddling industries from which they and their relatives have benefited mightily
  • What secrets the ethics-deficient members of Obama's cabinet - including Hillary Clinton - are trying to hide
  • Why the Obama White House has more power-hungry, unaccountable "czars" than any other administration
  • How Team Obama's first 100 days of appointments became a litany of embarrassments as would-be appointee after would-be appointee was exposed as a tax cheat or had to withdraw for other reasons
  • How Obama's old ACORN and union cronies have squandered millions of taxpayer dollars and dues money to enrich themselves and expand their power
  • How Obama's Wall Street money men and corporate lobbyists are ruining the economy and helping their friends

In Culture of Corruption, Michelle Malkin lays bare the Obama administration's seamy underside that the liberal media would rather keep hidden.

    Interesting info...

If this is all true, it's a sad USA we live in. Lots of information about "the system".

    Narrator was hard to understand.

His voice was too deep as though getting over a cold. Narrators need a sharp crisp voice.

    Excellent research and well presented

Ms. Malkin certainly nails it. This is a very solid expose' of the corruption of President Obama and his associates. It is very detailed and well written. However, for me personally, I already have a good feel for the corruption surrounding Mr. Obama from numerous other sources, and the details of all of his associates shady deals got a little boring for me toward the end of the book. If you are the person who really wants to understand all of the details and goings-on, then this book is for you. Ms. Malkin is a very thorough and articulate author, and it is a fun book (for me, only up to a point, where I lose track of all the scandals and who is committing them, because there are so many folks and so many unethical ativities). Well done, Ms. Malkin. Sad that it is so overwhelming because these yahoos have committed so many underhanded acts that it makes me numb to a point.

    You go girl.

Where does Culture of Corruption rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

    Possibly number 1.

What other book might you compare Culture of Corruption to and why?

You may compare her to cooulter or Ingram but shis is much more passionate and not an entertainer. Ms. Malkin is a thinker.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I am moved by Michele's honesty and ability to express it.

    Poor narrator makes listening unbearable

While I like the writings of Michelle Malkin, I will have to say everyone should AVOID the narrator Johnny Heller. From the get go, his voice drones on. It is very annoying trying to listen to and understand anyone whose voice is not strong. This one keeps fading out to the point that one cannot even hear half of what is being said. A voice that is this distracting totally ruins the listening experience. I will be buying the hard copy so I can understand what the author has written. I truly wasted the money on this audible pick. Shame! In all the years I have been using Audible, I have had only one other book that I stopped listening to because of the narrator.

    Fascinating

This book should be reviewed by the authorities and each allegation should be evaluated as to whether there further investigation is required. I come from the state where they convicted, and then threw out the conviction of our long-term Senator based on much flimsier alleged misdeeds. Clearly, much research has been done and this book deserves to be a bestseller.

Very hard to listen to such great content

What made the experience of listening to Culture of Corruption the most enjoyable?

I love Michelle Malkin and have been interested in reading this book since it came out and decided to finally get it here on audible. What a mistake. The content has basically been ruined for me because I have had such difficulty listening to the narrator.

What didn’t you like about Johnny Heller’s performance?

Kind of monotone basically, but something more about his overall tone that seemed to grate on my nerves.

This Blows the "Obama had no scandals" myth away.

How often have you seen that claim? "8 years in office. 0 scandals." Yeah right. This book is a long list of crimes of Obama's administration before and after he took office. His administration was most certainly comprised of swamp leeches, eager to cheat and drain the American people.
Malkin did a great job with this; as always. It is well narrated.

Good Analysis of Obama's Chicago Mafioso mentality

Conservatives will love her detailed description of dirty politics in the Obama administration. Chicago corruption has moved to the white house. Scary what another 4-years of Obama will do to the once capitalistic American culture.

Makes its point, but struggles to do so

What did you love best about Culture of Corruption?

It gave a number of facts and figures about the people in our government and the people who may have been placed in our government.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Nothing, it is what it is.

What’s the most interesting tidbit you’ve picked up from this book?

The extent to which our current administration is an extension of Chicago politics.

    Any additional comments?

The book did seem to extrapolate the deeds outside of national politics to the Obama administration. This is not surpising concidering the views ot the author.
