"Awesome! The Great One is Right on Target!"

Ameritopia should be required reading in High School civics, in College and University American and World History and Political Science classes. I listened to Liberty and Tyranny when it came out. Bought the book so I could refer back to it. At the time I felt it amazing that Mr. Levin had such a grasp on what Barack Obama wanted to do. Listening to Ameritopia gave me the historical background to understand what Mr. Levin conveys so well. To understand the goal of the state-ists and progressives opens our eyes to what they are doing each day to further their agenda. They are smarter and know what "the little people" need, and they are the ones who can deliver.
Thank you Mark Levin for doing your wonderful part to educate Americans so we can help to save our country.

    "A Book for Our Time"
Where does Ameritopia rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

    Top 10

What was one of the most memorable moments of Ameritopia?

The author's explanation of how the greatest minds in history have not been able to design a working utopia here on earth - nor will we ever find true utopia here on earth.

What about Adam Grupper and Mark R. Levin ’s performance did you like?

I liked the clarity of their reading of the text. It was neither monotone or overdone. It was just right.

What’s the most interesting tidbit you’ve picked up from this book?

The most interesting tidbit is the analysis of how we are living in a post-Constitutional republic and we are at a critical decision point between living in America or Ameritopia

    Any additional comments?

Read this book. It contains valuable information needed to cure that which ills our current political situation.

"A comprehensive source to understand the individua"

Mr Levin provides us and posterity the blueprint of natural rights and the emancipation of the individual through virtue and enlightenment.

This book explains what has happened as we allowed our personal freedoms to be replaced with control from an unceasing administrative state.

When you couple this book with the Liberty Amendments, they provide both a compelling argument and practical guide of how we can save the best form of government men has ever created for itself. Let man remain free to self govern.

As for the 3 stars, it would had been nice to hear this book (and all his other books), read by Mark himself.

As good as his last previous book. He makes a good case against modern liberal politics and liberal politicians. Read this book.

"A glimpse into where we may be headed..."
If you could sum up Ameritopia in three words, what would they be?

    Deep, informative, frightening

What was the most compelling aspect of this narrative?

It will be interesting to see how some of Levin's conjectures manifest themselves in the coming years. With the recent healthcare changes, potential changes to gun laws, and other legislation, much of what is discussed could become a reality.

Have you listened to any of Adam Grupper and Mark R. Levin ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not listened to Adam Grupper, but have read most of Mark Levin's books. The content of Ameritopia was much more in-depth than previous books. It could be used as a primer on political philosophy.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Surely not, although this is not a negative aspect of the book. The material in the book is quite heavy and took a bit to fully comprehend at times. I found myself rewinding to catch parts for a second or third time. The narrator is acceptable, neither adding to or distracting from the book. I enjoyed having Mark Levin read the introduction and may have enjoyed the book a bit more had he lent his unique voice and style to the entire book.

    Any additional comments?

I took Philosophy and Political Science in college, and the first few chapters of this book provided a succinct refresher. It laid the groundwork for the rest of Mark's analysis.

Overall, a very well-researched book that will be discussed for years to come. Whether you agree with his thesis or not, it is an interesting view point that should be considered.

"Excellent! A Must Have. Mark, Once Again Delivers."
Would you consider the audio edition of Ameritopia to be better than the print version?

I would not choose one over the other. This would be a perfect companion to the Kindle edition.

What other book might you compare Ameritopia to and why?

I have not read any other book that I think compares at this time to Mark's book. I've read other books by other conservative voices. But theirs really lean on the entertainment side. Mark's book is truly meant to educate and to provide a foundation and context for Conservatism. I've learned a lot from Mark's book.

What about Adam Grupper and Mark R. Levin ’s performance did you like?

The conversational tone of the reading.

If you could give Ameritopia a new subtitle, what would it be?

I would not change the subtitle. My only comment is that the subtitle does not reflect the very informative background Mark provides on the genesis of conservative thought and it's place in America's foundation.

    Any additional comments?

This should be required reading for students!

    "Great Teacher"
What did you love best about Ameritopia?

I enjoyed the chapters about John Locke and Charles Montesquieu most and how their writings influenced the founding fathers.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character was John Locke because I've used several of his quotes regarding the civil society in discussions with my family members.

Which character – as performed by Adam Grupper and Mark R. Levin – was your favorite?

Mark R. Levin is a wonderful historian and teacher. I've listened to several chapters repeatedly.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I'm inspired to read more about the founding of our country. I hope to purchase more books soon.
