Publisher's summary

So I may be in the Last Single Man Standing competition with my cousins, but five minutes around Kinsey was all it took to take myself out. Who cares about bragging rights when you’ve just found the woman you’re going to marry? Sure, she may work for my biggest competitor. Sure, she’s not dating right now. Sure, she’s my sister’s best friend and I’ve been sworn off her. But somehow she agrees to go on six fake dates to help me save face in this competition.

What does the guy who never uses his words have to say to convince the girl of his dreams that they’re perfect for each other?

Read this series in order!

Narration was great by this talked duo. Tim Paige and Avery Reid also narrated the first book in this series, but they were able to play Griff and Kinsey convincingly.

This story was a wonderful surprise. To have the male MC creating mental wedding planning spreadsheets very early on was a nice swap. (I’m tired to reading about the girl faking hard while the guy plays catch-up….) Griff was all in and adorably clueless on how to handle Kinsey. Well, he knew how to handle her in the bedroom, that is for sure!!! Hot scenes with great chemistry!

I suggest reading this series in order! The reader will truly be able to enjoy the characters and the insane bet!

too sweet

too many corny sayings for me. lots of loose ends that are likely covered in series of books

Sweet Story

I’m loving this series. This book was more risqué than the first book with lots of sex talk.

Best book I have read in a long time.

I enjoyed this book more than the first in the series. I literally laughed out loud at the jokes and the metaphors that Kenzie uses are AMAZING.

For future edification

I loved everything about this book with one exception: overkill with “memaw” and with southern catch phrases, especially containing the word “butter”. “Butter my biscuits”, “butter in my grits”, “butter in my cornbread”,. Otherwise, a great story.

good read but nothing too original

I've listened to a few in this series. they are ok to pass the time but not a lot of depth in them. it's a story for the sake of the story and not much basis to it. almost as if it's the day the author imagined her story going with it knowing how things really work. but again, decent enough story to pass the time
