Narrator's performance

Although I love Patricia Cornwell's books, it is difficult for me to get used to the way in which this narrator, Lorelei King, reads the book. Since I am not a child anymore, I find the different voices frustrating. At a certain point, I find she is running out of voices (or forgets some). Please just read in a normal voice. Adults are fully able to discern the characters.

Ho hum unfortunately

I loved the Scarpetta series so I was disappointed in this one. It felt very rushed, disconnected and a bit ho hum, been there done that. Lack of depth
