I love the royal shyness series and the third in the series, the royal flush is a great example. read them in order is my suggestion

Great narrator
I enjoy these stories, but I particularly enjoy the powerful style of the actress who performs them. The stories are interesting and portray how being part of an extended royal family wasn't (isn't) always positive.

LOVED IT!!
Fantastic characters, fun and original story, interesting historical fiction. A really loved the narrator! The American girl it me would not have gotten correct pronunciations for the Scottish and English names. So I really enjoyed hearing a native read this story.

Fun
Royal Flush by Rhys Bowen is the 3rd book in the Royal Spyness mystery series. Lady Georgiana, 34th in line to the throne, is forced back to her home in Scotland, Castle Runnoch, to avoid a scandal after a misunderstanding, where she is asked to look into accidents that are happening to the royal family. A delightful and fun mystery. The narrator of the audiobook is wonderful especially with all the character voices and adds to the experience. Lots of entertaining moments as Georgie plots with her sister-in-law in getting rid of unwanted guests. A light-hearted and very enjoyable book.

A Wonderful Series Beautifully Narrated
What made the experience of listening to Royal Flush the most enjoyable?
The narration and the dry sense of humor of the author.
What did you like best about this story?
The humor and learning about English royalty.
Have you listened to any of Katherine Kellgren’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is pretty much par for the course, which I think is quite good. The books are fun and a nice diversion.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Royalty moonlights as detective.

I listen to a Royal Spyness Mystery to relax and to laugh. I am always sorry when they end.

OKAY -the stories are a stretch -
this one in particular - but still soooo much fun! Fans of Regency or even historical fiction will enjoy.
