Publisher's Summary

It's summertime, but sales at their bakery are below zero, so Mel and Angie are willing to try anything to heat things up! When local legend Slim Hazard offers them a chance to sell cupcakes at the annual Juniper Pass rodeo, they're determined to rope in a pretty payday! But not everyone at the Juniper Pass is as sweet for Fairy Tale Cupcakes as Slim - including star bull rider Ty Stokes. The girls try to steer clear of the cowboy's short fuse, but when Ty is found dead, facedown in the hay, it's a whole different rodeo. With a murderer on the loose, the ladies know that while they came to save their business, they may have to save themselves - and that's no bull.

Better Logic, a Tad Confusing, but Still Great!

Would you listen to Red Velvet Revenge again? Why?

I would listen to this book again happily. I loved the characters, the narration, and while I was a little confused with the story in the end, I would like to listen again for parts I may have missed.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved seeing the characters getting out of the shop, and it finally made sense why they were not there!

What does Susan Boyce bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She always brings a warmth to the characters. I just finished one of the books she narrated yesterday, and while the book was not the most amazing, she really added to the joy of reading and listening.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I could have listened in one sitting, and enjoyed every minute!

Any additional comments?

This one was a tad confusing for me in the end, but I still enjoyed the book.
