Publisher's Summary

#1 New York Times bestselling author Brad Thor brings readers his darkest and most intriguing thriller yet - a terrifying story of espionage and betrayal - brilliantly paced with superb nonstop action.

Born in the shadows and kept from heads of state, there are some missions so deadly, so sensitive, that they simply don't exist.

When one such mission goes horribly wrong, a wave of dramatic terrorist attacks is set in motion. Their goal: the complete and total collapse of the United States.

With the CIA's intelligence abilities hobbled, former Navy SEAL Team 6 member turned covert counterterrorism operative Scot Harvath launches an audacious plan to infiltrate the terrorists' network and prevent one of the biggest threats the United States has ever faced.

Simultaneously, a foreign wet work team has been sent to California. Their target: one of Hollywood's most famous filmmakers.

While working on a secret documentary project, movie producer Larry Salomon has unknowingly exposed one of the world's wealthiest and most politically connected powerbrokers - a man with a radical anti-American agenda poised to plunge the nation into deadly, irreversible chaos.

As the plots rocket to their pulse-pounding conclusion and the identities of the perpetrators are laid stunningly bare, Harvath will be left with only one means to save America. Unable to trust anyone, he will be forced to go Full Black.

Intense and frighteningly realistic, Full Black is, hands down, Brad Thor's most riveting thriller to date.

"Book is GREAT, Audible is HORRIBLE!!"

This book, like all other 'Harvath' books was very good!! This is my 20th Brad Thor book so I kinda have a clue what to expect.

HOWEVER...Armand Schultz apparently is the new 'voice' for the Audible audiobook/whisper sync...TERRIBLE is an understatement!!! He must've been a friend of Brad Thor's and Brad owed him a BIG favor is the ONLY explanation I can think of!! Schultz literally changes accents in the middle of a conversation...FOR THE SAME PERSON!! I think they just recorded Armond reading the first book of his adult life. I think I could've done better while half-awake!!

If it wasn't 50% more for the standalone audiobook I'd be laughing but instead I'm crying...WHAT A JOKE!! Thor should be horrifically ASHAMED and NEVER have this Armand Schultz character read another book out loud or in public for the rest of his life...total 3rd rate gig but I'm sure he and Brad are laughing all the way to the bank!! But we're the ones DUMB ENOUGH to keep buying this JUNK, so last laugh is on US!!

    "Best to Date"

I have listened to all of Brad's books in order and this is the best one to date. It just seems that something like this could really happen in our crazy world. By the way Mr. Thor, we call getting tased in Chicago, "Ride the lightning" not the bull. : )

    "Another win for Brad Thor"

Brad Thor has done it again with another edge-of-your-seat Scot Harvath thriller in "Full Black". The technical details are fascinating, the story is both plausible and terrifying, and the performance is superb. And as always, Thor's ruminations--in the persona of Harvath--about terrorism, Islam, and global politics are dead on point. I find myself nodding like a bobblehead during Harvath's internal monologues.

I cannot fathom why these riveting novels haven't made it to the big screen yet. Maybe there is just too much truth and patriotism in them for Hollywood to handle, I don't know. (Hopefully the blockbuster success of "American Sniper" will change that.) Hollywood has a gold mine in Thor, if they could stop rebooting Spiderman for the umpteenth time to pay attention.

"I seldom downrate novels for being unrealistic, .."

...but in Full Black protagonist and anti-terrorism operative Scot Harvath infiltrates a terrorist cell and literally saves the US. It is a wonderful espionage thriller that probably deserves 5 stars, but the extremely unlikely events cause me to award it 4 stars. Suspense is intense and sustained. Brad Thor is one of the best thriller authors.

    "Boring"

Author needs to take lessons from Vince Flynn. Havens books seem to be taking place in two places at once to converge predictably and a real chore to get there. I put the speed on 2x and could only get half way through the book.

"Next title in series. . ."

As always, I look forward to the next book and which your producers would include it at the end of the audiobook I just finished so I can go directly to it. That's probably the best comment I can make and stick with Armen!

    "Another great thriller"

This is a fantastic thriller. It make a 600 mile drive very enjoyable. The narrator Armand Schultz has you clinging to every word. The different personalities he uses really make the Brad Thor series very enjoyable to listen to.
I'm hooked on audio books because of authors and narrators that audiobooks use !!!

    "Brad is back!"
Would you listen to Full Black again? Why?

Brad is back and so is Scot! Back to action, intrigue and mystery! I look for mindless projects to do around the house so I can justify listening at home as well as in the car.

What does Armand Schultz bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Armand does a great job personifying the characters and keeping them consistent. Like all really good narrators, he brings the characters life.
