Assasins, not detectives.

A bit let down by this instalment. Had nothing to do with the synopsis at all. Still a good read but these guys are meant to be assasins not detectives.

Not up to par with rest of series

This book wasn't too enjoyable. It seems they spent too much time throwing as much as they could that a good story didn't ever evolve. Additionally the main characters exhibited dumb decisions which were only overcome with luck, leaving a trail of dead friends in their path. I just didn't enjoy this one too much. I'm not sure I enjoy the direction they are taking this Robie series.

End Game by David Baldacci

As a long time fan of David Baldacci, sadly I have to say this was not as good as his usual standard of story teling. I, also did not enjoy the readers. I found their rendition harsh and grating. One of my favourite American readers is Dick Hill and I do wish he could be employed more for these audio books. Can't seem to find him as a narrator of late.

Hopefully not the last of Will and Jessica

This is the fifth book in the Will Robie series by David Baldacci.

The book starts with an impossible assignment for Will Robie in London and an equally outlandish escape for Jessica Reel on her own deadly mission.

When this is all sorted the book settles down to a missing persons investigation. Blue Man has vanished while he was on holiday.

Robie and Reel are taken out of their comfort zone into an environment where they need to rely on skills honed over years of government service.

Another great story from Baldacci, although the relationship between the two main protagonists is puzzling.

end game

mission accomplished. another successful journey of will and jess, and how hardened vet's have heart's and souls where tenderness and love reside.
narrators: Orlagh and Kyf...5stars, they give life to these characters.
