Excellent book

The action continues in this third book of the series. I was drawn into the story immediately and felt the building suspense for the characters, whom I already felt I knew from the previous books. This increased attachment to the characters really made the story come alive to me. The post-apocalyptic conditions are well thought out and plausible. While the characters were already drawn into a civil war to fight for their freedoms, they have to deal with food shortages, a pandemic, worsening conditions, and possible invasions from countries seeking to take over while the US is knocked down. Kevin Pierce adds his own brand of magic, holding us captive with his voice. This series is an excellent addition to any Audible library.

Great series

I'm so sad it's over! I loved this book and the entire series as a whole. Gave me a lot to think about and had me enthralled the entire time. Truly wonderful!

The end was abrupt.

I really enjoyed this series. The character development really made me care about the story and their lives. Then came the end, the final battle and series wrapped up in 22 minutes. I was ready to purchase book 4 but it was over.

Excellent story! Love this author! I wish the author would write a book 4 and 5 of this series.

I think I enjoyed this one more then the second book.

I really have started to enjoy Kyle Pratt's book series. The story line is believable and entertaining. Character development is really good and as always Kevin Pierce does a great job making it come to life in the audio version.

Ok, I am ready for book 4.
