I've been enjoying this series with Jason and Daniel. Both characters of solid individuals in a small English community. One is a detective the other a former army surgeon have been working together solving murders.

I really enjoyed this whole entire series I started with the mermaid one because I just happened to be interested in that cuz I like sci-fi fantasy stuff and then I went from there all the way down to the last one number 17 and then realized there was more before so I'm starting back from one and I'm on before now it is great to keep listening and listening to the next one highly recommended great author and then also the person and then the first couple the first ending ones were a guy and then now it's a woman from one to nine and she actually does a great job too

this is an absolute great series I started with the one about the mermaids when I first did it and went

The team of Redmond and Haze continues to delight! Each case to be solved leaves you guessing until the end. Irina Shapiro takes the team to many different settings and this one of the Romany brightly colored caravans was a great setting! Her sensitivity to the gypsy people was appreciated. The only problem is the books end too soon and I have to wait for the next one!!

To me, the narrator makes Lord Jason Redmond sound cold and without much compassion which is not true.

I truly enjoy this series and will continue to listen through its entirety.

Really enjoying the writing style. Great characters and storyline. Narration is good as well. Looking forward to book 5.
